I have an x22i treadmill which up until two weeks ago was perfect until NordicTrack mailed us a “mat lubrication kit” that ironically is part of a class action settlement. One assumes the kit is supposed to help extend the life of the roller mat. After application and cleaning, the unit is now a “slip ‘n slide” and useless. Naturally Nordic Track is now suggesting a $159 technician visit to address the roller belt that their lubrication kit ruined. But the real reason for the review is the pathetic customer service experience, paralleling the complaints already listed on this site.
The laborious phone tree, AI assistant, and finally some off-shored individual reading from a script and checklist. After ten minutes of repeated apologies for my inconvenience and I requested a supervisor — and it’s been another fifteen minutes, allowing me to write this review.
I love the Nordic Track product and performance, but would never consider spending the elevated cost again with a company that apparently prioritizes their customer support as irrelevant. Note that equipment ratings only address the actual hardware and not any type of service experience. One might suggest that rating services perform a trial run with a service request just to establish how the customer would be treated.
I would also observe that Nordic Track as we knew it — high-end equipment manufacturer — no longer exists. It appears that the “app” segment of their business — “iFit” ate their company and brought in an entirely new business model focused on subscriptions and “personal coaching.” And while that may be desirable for some, many of us would simply like quality products and responsive customer service.
As an addendum, the service visit (for the issue they caused) must be paid in advance. Curious, I accepted this just to explore where it was going, and found that even the technician visit is out-sourced to some third party. Separate reviews for the service company (Jez Enterprises) are not flattering, with an average 1.5 stars and plenty of well-written complaints.
So this is today’s Nordic Track, folks. They are coasting on the legacy brand but they’re no longer the product or customer experience that built the reputation.

Avoid these treadmills at all costs. They don't work unless you have good internet connection and are willing to pay for access to their "premium content." My manual workout was interrupted 5 times by a prompt window asking me to connect my treadmill to my wifi. It would not allow me to resume my workout without doing this. Since my wifi is currently down, I was forced to restart my workout each time.

Absolutely horrible customer service with IFIT subscription department. Hung up on and not even willing to help even with a frustrated client! Easy answer hang up and they have to call back to be put on a 35 minute hold! No thank you. So unimpressed!!! Not a fan of how was treated by this company!! Very unprofessional!

My experience with customer service with IFIT was absolutely amazing. They were incredibly fast with handling my warranty claim on my X32i treadmill. They had a replacement unit sent to me in 7 days. That is incredible!! The representative Miriam was so very courteous and helpful through the entire process. I will definitely choose IFIT and Nordictrack for any future equipment purchases.
We purchased a recumbent bike in February 2026 and we still haven’t been able to use it.
It took weeks to arrive, once it arrived it was not installed properly and the internal brake controller that manages effort levels was not functioning properly. The repair part took multiple weeks to arrive, and it did not work properly. When the service tech arrived on his second visit - he noticed the electrical wiring was also damaged.
Attempts to reach a Customer Service rep for Norditrack proved fruitless. Chatting was the only real option / and that was not helpful at all.
Awful experience.

I bought a NordicTrack X 24 bike over a year ago. I used it three or four times and then it stopped working. I did reach out to customer service. I am not kidding you they came out here one time the technician came out to fix it said he couldn’t take the pedal off Then they rescheduled with me more than seven times still a year later no fixed bike not usable complete waste of money complete waste of time. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would rather them give me a middle finger then slow walk me to basically an expiring warranty. I am literally moments away from contacting my attorney to find out what I can do to create a class action lawsuit against this company. This company continues to pass the buck and say they are trying to get in contact when they in fact don’t make a consorted effort to do so.

This is the worst purchase I ever made. I use it infrequently (in a vacation home), so discontinued my iFit subscription. Trying to use it as a manual mode treadmill is burdensome, taking minutes to start it up without iFit each time. I get daily emails from iFit with offers, but since I no longer have an account with them I cant unsubscribe!! Beware. If you want a good manual treadmill, go elsewhere.

Purchased a treadmill on 3/18, paid for delivery and set up. They delivered it but did not set it up because they said “it is too heavy”. They never came back to set it up. After we set it up the monitor would not turn on. Service rep said bad monitor. Finally received another monitor which also does not work.
1: have had the tread for over 2 months, paying for ifit, and have never been able to use it!
2: nearly impossible to speak to an actual human!
Going to return it! The service with Peloton was 1000% time better than this!

NordicTrak's I-Fit is running one of the biggest scams of 2026:
Step 1: Accept the cancellation.
Step 2: Pretend the cancellation worked.
Step 3: Fire up the “We’re sorry you’re gone, please come back!” email campaign.
Step 4: Keep billing cancelled members anyway.
Step 5: Hope they don’t notice.
I bought my treadmill in December and signed up for I-Fit to go with it. I tried the service for one month and hated it. In January, I went through all the proper cancellation steps and canceled my membership.
How do I know the cancellation went through?
Because they disconnected the service from my machine.
Because every time I get on the treadmill, it asks me to rejoin.
Because they send me weekly “please come back” emails.
Apparently the only thing they DIDN’T cancel was the billing.
I just discovered they’ve been quietly charging me $39/month ever since.
So I called customer service.
I sat on hold for 52 minutes.
When I finally got a human being and explained the situation, she informed me their “policy” was to refund one month.
One.
Which they still haven’t done.
After THEY acknowledged the account was canceled.
Absolutely not.
At this point, this doesn’t feel like a mistake. It feels like a business model built around customer exhaustion and the hope that people don’t check their bank statements closely enough.
So now I get to call my bank, dispute charges, waste more hours of my life, and warn other consumers publicly.
Check your statements, people.
Apparently “cancelled” and “still billing you forever” are two entirely separate departments at I-Fit.

In a word…HORRIBLE customer service. The machines for the most part are OK. But I really don’t think that at 66 years old, I have found worse customer service. I spent thousands of dollars on their most expensive treadmill, rower and bike. Sales were easy and great. They knew their products and made sure they got my thousands of dollars quickly. When something goes wrong with their equipment watch out, that is where this takes a HORRIBLE turn. I believe their customer service is outsourced to another country and the lack of follow thru is just a sign of the times we live in where no manufacturer cares much after you buy their products. I would say no less then 6 months of trying to repair my bike, numerous parts shipped to my house, a third party tech person coming to my house, using just trial and error, replacing part after part after part after part, and now over 6 months and they think it is the transformer and cord and plug. I have spent numerous hours talking to customer service folks and I finally got to a supervisor and thought here is an answer to my prayers. NOPE, even worse customer service from the supervisor. I have called him no less then 20 times and emailed him over 50 emails begging for a call back after my first call with him where he promised me that he would personally see to it that the bike got repaired. And he is always hiding behind customer service folks who are afraid to give me the supervisors boss so I can complain about the supervisor. No less then 100 emails and numerous parts and numerous repair visits and 6 months and my bike is still not working. At this point they could have given me a brand new bike, as it would have been cheaper. Oh and by the way the reason for my bike repair is the screen went out. And if you Google screen issues from Nordictrack it’s huge.
So take it from someone who is at their whits end, DO NOT CALL NORDICTRACK TO BUY ANY EXERCISE EQUIPMENT.
My hope is that some Nordictrack executive sees this and reaches out to me.
I wanted to add that on June 2, 2026 I got an email from a person whose title is Executive Escalations Specialist. It was so refreshing to get an email from someone who wanted to help. Well at least I thought that was what they wanted to do, since they said that in their email.
I replied to her email that very day saying: “ Thank you for your refreshing email. I HATE to write any reviews like that, and especially to a company as large as yours. It would be much easier if we can get on a call to discuss this. Please let me know when you can talk.”
She responded 2 days later with days and times she was open to speak with me. Going great so far. Well here is where it has gone: I replied on the date she sent me an email with the date I was open and time and my cell number. No replied.
I sent another email June 8th, no reply.
My last email was June 11 and here is what I said: “I am so surprised that you have not followed through on the emails or the call that we had set up. While my bike is finally repaired and working now after 6 months, I still wanted to talk to you about all the issues I faced just to get that done. That is why I am very confused about your follow through. I figured I would reach out one more time before I updated my Trust Pilot review, adding about executive escalation responses.
Thank you from very disheartened in Ohio!”
Bottom line is this, I hold my position after being ghosted by the manager of customer service and now an executive. The theme is that Nordictrack is not interested in hearing from any customer, even one that has bout well over $6k in equipment.
When considering exercise equipment, RUN RIN RUN. Since exercise equipment is 50% about equipment and 50% about great customer service. Again RUN RUN RUN from Nordictrack.
Special message to Nordictrack, I encourage anyone in that company who cares about the customer to call me. DO NOT email me. I have well over a hundred emails. You know my name and have my cell.

Update: I appreciate NordicTrack’s public response indicating that this matter had been escalated to the appropriate management teams and inviting private engagement. Following that response, I provided additional information, including prior communications, outreach to the NordicTrack/iFIT Legal/IP area. However, I have not received any private follow up regarding the matter.
My concern remains the same. At the time of my experience, NordicTrack promotions repeatedly used terms such as “extra,” “additional,” “plus,” and “more” in connection with savings, including outreach from a NordicTrack representative referencing an “additional discount” and an ability to “beat online prices.”
The promotional terms available at the time for the advertised additional $150 offer did not reference stacking, non-combinability, or state that the offer could not be used with existing promotions. Based on the language used and the terms then available, it reasonably appeared the offer was incremental.
Rather than assume, I reached out twice to the NordicTrack representative who had contacted me to understand how the additional amount worked in relation to the promotion already reflected in my cart and received no response. I later used chat and explained at the outset that I was trying to understand how to apply the additional amount without removing the promotion already reflected in my cart. I voluntarily provided my cart information to assist. Only later in the interaction, after unsuccessful upsell efforts, was I told the offer did not apply in addition to the existing promotion.
To be clear, my concern here is not product quality. My prior experience with NordicTrack products has generally been positive. This review concerns promotional clarity and the related customer experience.
My concern has never been about receiving a discount to which I was not entitled. Rather, it is whether a reasonable consumer would understand the promotion, as presented at the time, in the way NordicTrack intended.
Bout the x16. The unit wants to be a stair climber, treadmill and elliptical all in one, but ultimately comes short of each. The stride system is clunky and doesn't make for enjoyable use. The refund penalty of nearly
$600 for shipping and install is atrocious as well. Not a Nordic fan.
Positive: The young lady at Nordic who helped with the return was very kind.

This X24 has easily been the worst purchase I have ever made for something that costs this much. I has had several breakdowns with limited use. Their service and help desk is terrible. Finally, more than $1,000 later and 3 months out of service, this is working again. I literally use it less than 4 times per month (run outside when I can). Just pathetic, will never purchase Nordic Track again. Further, they are CONSTANTLY trying to sell me their subscription and sometimes they upgrade the software only to delay your workout by 15 minutes, no way to bypass their pathetic electronic screen.
See their worthless AI response below if you need more proof of my claims.

Throughout the process of purchasing my NordicTrack 2450, the engagement team was super helpful in helping me understand the options available. Once I got my treadmill, the fun really started! I was replacing an older version and the 2450 is both quieter and has more options available on it so I was delighted by that. It's a great, sturdy machine that plays an important role in my entire families fitness.
Email message and instructions were concise. Very fast resolution of my product issue.
James Lanciaux in sales was so helpful, patient & efficient!! I LOVE MY X24 treadmill !!! The incline is absolutely phenomenal!! Ive had it for about a month now & fp thev12 3 30 1x a week & trek to mt everest base camp 2x a week & warm up with sprints 3x a week before my strength training & im already down a few inches & lbs !! Its exactly what I needed to complete my home gym :) The programs are so well made & interesting! I thoroughly enjoy getting on this machine & feel even better after !
Solid treadmill. Nice that you can follow a program while still streaming. The screen does not rotate on this model so it wouldn’t be great for the strength/pilates etc workouts

Great sturdy equipment. I think you will see most of the poor reviews are related to the iFit component of the equipment. If you want some of the best built workout equipment available and can tolerate the debacle that is iFit, this is for you.
I bought a NordicTrack S22i exercise bike in 2021 and have used it several times per week since (70 rides so far this year). It has been very reliable, with no mechanical or electronic problems at all. The exercise function is still like new. I simply write it down after each workout. I unplug it each day to reduce wear on the electronics
I love this treadmill! The IFIT is boss! There are sooo many trainers and programs and the treadmill lets me pick and embrace whatever, whoever I choose. I can base my workout on time or event or trainer. Or I can go manual and create my own session. The treadmill is perfect. I have no problems, no issues. I actually look forward to working out every day. The trainers guide me through warmups and cooldowns once I start their programs.. New programs and opportunities just keep coming. This treadmill has performed perfectly.
