Got the products but it was an obstacle course that caused a crash
TLDR:Many website issues, buy on TESCO/Boots if u don’t have a chronic condition that allows 20% VAT reduction that the DWP knows about. You'll need to towel off shampoos a very thorough amount,if u can't do that cut the shampoo wrap in small portions & do 1/4 of your hair on different days or use liquid shampoo for 1/4 of your hair at a time.
99% products fragranced, website not accessibility friendly, typos,no free shipping.Knowledgeable staff,no opt out of hold music, doesn't save your basket, vague instructions create a learning curve & fails.Knew they were legit due to the website being up since 2007 & customer service call with technical questions (not foolproof but it does help when combined with other data)
⚠️ Pace yourself & get some help with this company if u have fatigue issues.
They're legit company. What to expect-Won't be straightforward, you'll probably have to email to find out how to use the products).Got products with VAT relief, it was one obstacle to jump over after another from website issues,to vague instructions I had to email about to a shower cap that was not compatible with arm weakness I had to rinse off with water because the towelling off needs to be extremely thorough/almost aggressive & my arms got too tired & sore & then time ran out/I thought I'd been thorough enough but wasn't.
No accessibility for the VAT relief criteria just a wall of text,to uncommon language for the instructions (when's the last time your referred to your private parts as perineal?) DHL app won’t track as it’s another DHL service & the driver came 1h early, they don't tell u DHL app is useless,u get a website tracking link.
Only thing that’s been okay is the hand foam sanitizer. Small one is fiddly & pumps different amounts varying on the pressure you use & how hot your hands are & evaporates quickly but I prefer it to alcohol due to it leaving less residue & the 6hour protection, has no VAT relief.Received wrong item, refunded.
Customer service is mostly good, friendly & polite,in UK ,they have extensive knowledge up to a point, they didn’t know for some things when u have combined arm weakness + fatigue or previous use of things like witch hazel if would interact as not common & untested.
They'll get a new website, massively overdue,it doesn't save your basket with an account, only saves your address in 2025!If u call they can see your basket from an order you couldn't complete.
Not spoonie friendly as had to try 3 times then call them up because signature for VAT wasn't working on 2 mobile browsers.(Opera+Brave).It’s a learning curve & obstacle course that nobody wants when they’re already struggling with basic hygiene. On the plus side most things I ordered are re-sealable to prevent drying out.
I’ll update as I’ve used every single product I bought 3 products in & I’ve had to ask about each so far.No allergic reactions & they don't test on animals, vegan products, shipping packaging was fine so points for that.
Would be easy for them to fix instructions &add with 1st orders printed detailed instructions at the very least how to use products when lying down,if hair clippers would be affected by residue(they suspect not).I dislike having to email to get instructions, when is the last time u had to look up instructions online for microwaving something or how to use a body care product? This shows they don't care.Omnitex have microwaveable instructions on their hair caps for 700w on packaging,it's not impossible! I'll review Omnitex next from spoonie POV
I don’t buy off unknown websites, there were multiple company names and a weird postal address made me sceptical ,I did what duck.ai suggested (1 step) to find out if the website is legit, give them a call & ask specific questions the more technical the better, this isn’t foolproof (tractor & car scams online have well informed fake customer services that have good knowledge). One green flag (opposite of a red flag to be cautious of) is the woman on the phone told me I could check reviews on Boots & other websites & buy off them there. If she did not know something she was upfront which I appreciate greatly and said she would get back to me. I was not pressured into making a purchase immediately(green flag)
(Scammers do not have any moral boundaries when it comes to what they will pretend to sell/ be ,such as assisted un-aliving whether on Switzerland or elsewhere & disability products scams.)
No free samples,VAT relief is 20% off if you have a chronic condition(s)& is easy to apply when the website works & you know your disability is included.(again thanks for making it disability accessible!) Welcome 10% off code for 1st order
You can check how long a website has been up,with Wayback Machine(archive.org)to see old snapshots of the site norinse.co.uk :Saved 150 times since May 29,2007
