Delivery took too long
I have used the mattress twice and I had a comfortable sleep. The average rating is due to the long delivery time. I started to think that I had been scammed. Thankfully the mattresses (I bought 2) arrived and I look forward to using them more frequently in our summer.
Update:
Northpeakgear.com recently (Nov 2025) reimbursed me $20USD to compensate for the long wait.

Best air bed I’ve used
The delivery took a while to arrive, i actually asked for a refund from my bank because i thought i got scammed. I was reassured by email eventually. It may be best to let customers know an estimate delivery time to save this happening. I bought them in the summer but did not have chance to use them till November. I did have a practice run at pumping them up and I’m glad I did because I found using a pump a lot better. We stayed in a pod with electric so we used an electric blanket to keep warm. The beds lasted well for 4 nights 12 stone and 14 stone with no air escaping. Absolutely spot on. Thank you

Used for a 1 week cold trip. Held up well. Did lose a little air each day but distributed well and got more comfortable. Recommend a small pump to inflat or it takes a bit.

Good product, but took a while to get here
Delivery took a bit longer than expected and I was starting to have my doubts because the tracking was not updating, but the product did arrive and it's a good product. No complaints about the actual product at all, and the company did respond when I had questions about the delay. Seems to perhaps have been an issue with the shipper.

Good. Did everything advertised for sleeping and comfort. Not compact. Not easy to inflate. In fact, hilariously bad to inflate. Resorted to blowing them up with our breath. In the rain. Of course they were comfortable to sleep on. We were exhausted after blowing them up!

It took some time to get it to Sweden but the mattress is very nice to sleep on. I dont know how good isolation it have for cold weather, I need to test that. But for the price its very good.

Bought 2, and my daughter (10yr old) & I used it for over a week straight at a camp. They both did a great job, easy to set up, doesn’t need a mid week re-inflate. I had great night sleeps. Love how little it packs down & how easy it is for 10yr old.

Good mat. Not ultra lightweight put perfect for my kayaking trips, it’s sturdy and comfortable. I think I would be better without the pump. Include a air bag type inflator instead.

The sleeping pad
The sleeping pad - tested by my 18-year old grandson, an avid fisherman and camper - was plenty soft, and long enough to be comfortable for his height (over 6 feet). He is very happy with it. There was a slight problem with shipping, but the customer service was very responsive and helped me get the situation resolved quite satisfactorily. Kudos to them for their work. I would buy from North Peak again.
