It would be more helpful on the return…

It would be more helpful on the return shipping rebates, if one could actually know the $ amount. Since I have no idea, I have never been able to use the return shipping rebate option.

Works well for me

This program has been a good deal for me. I always earn more than the monthly fee in rebates. If you shop regularly at WalMart, Sam's, Target, Aldi, Home Depot, Kohl's, Macy's and many other national chains, it's a no-brainer. I have never had a problem submitting claims (an easy process) or receiving payments.

I love VIP because it’s basically…

I love VIP because it’s basically paying us to shop at the stores we normally go to. It’s not difficult to put the receipts together…you can do it in front of the tv. and you have your own little cache of money. Those checks mount up and you can save them up for something special you want to purchase ( and maybe able to get money back on that!)

I bought a pair of shoes from them and…

I bought a pair of shoes from them and they automatically signed me up for their monthly membership that costs $15 dollars a month. I do not ever remember signing up for this! I am the most anti membership person out there. Annoyed and will definitely never buy from them again. Scammers!

To enroll in this program, you clicked on the offer and were then taken to the registration page that fully described the terms, benefits (5%-10% Cash-back, Shipping Rebates, and Free Return Shipping through FedEx ground. The page also included the cost of the VIP Insider membership after your trial period.

You completed the form and agreed to the Terms and Conditions.

However, had you skipped any one of these steps, no membership would have been established.

I highly recommend NorthStyle VIP

I highly recommend NorthStyle VIP. This program is outstanding! I have been enrolled for several years, and I am so glad that I took a chance on this. I was nervous about the legitimacy of the program when I signed up, but I can honestly convey that I am thrilled I signed up for this wonderful service. The program works as conveyed, payments get processed timely and with efficiency. I found the customer service staff very attentive and extremely efficient researching information that I was seeking on the one occasion that a check got lost in the mail. They quickly researched it, got back to me and sent another check. I have made more money through the program refunds than I have spent for the monthly fees. I would recommend to anyone, try this program as it is a wonderful way to get refunds on purchases!

Response time is pretty good but when…

Response time is pretty good but when you have an issue or explanation then response time is just ok. You send out e-mails saying you will review but then don't get back or provide and explanation that was not valid for the original question.
Still waiting on a response.

Only 1 complaint

I have no complaints other than not being able to submit more than one rebate per day for same retailer. I shop marketplace retailer such as Kroger for both groceries and fuel which gives separate receipts but can only submit one receipt for rebate for them same day. I don’t understand why it matters as long as you have a receipt to prove that two set purchases has been made.

Cumbersome process and slow to process and pay

The process to receive rebates, which are nice, is cumbersome. You must wait until you have received the order, so that you have proof of completion and payment, and then the rebate request must be manually mailed in. For the cost of the program, the rebates should be automatic...or at a minimum, there should be an online process. I have a claim NorthStyle VIP received on June 9 that has still not been paid, and it is July 27.

Great program!

I like this program very much! I've more than made up the monthly cost of using it. I buy a lot of clothing twice a year and some here and there. I've also used the program for my shopping trips to Walgreen's. There are tons of other "Marketplace" companies from which to receive cash back. I like, too, that I'm reimbursed for shipping, which is often costly.

I will be staying with the program for the foreseeable future. I think it's a great deal!

I've been a member for a couple of years. I keep a record of all my submissions vs the monthly charge. I ALWAYS come out ahead financially! Great program.

Fast and easy to submit receipts

Fast and easy to submit receipts, and I can make up to $1000 in a year on purchases I was going to make anyway. For those who intentionally sign up and dont' just go for free shipping without knowing what they're signing up for, it's a great way to put a little cash back in the pocket. Only thing that slows me down is I wish they could accept photos saved in the new iPhone format.

Prompt responses to rebates

Prompt responses to rebates. Maybe too quick so that too many little checks are sent vs. each month and combining them more. Better too quick than waiting months as other rebate clubs have done so I've been happy with it. They only allow one rebate request at the same place, so I miss out with QVC because those purchases are often multiple as they come up. Overall it has been worth the monthly payment and they are very responsive to questions, concerns and sending out rebates.
