Worst Customer Service of any outdoor clothing/shoe company EVER

Last year ordered 2 pairs of their shoes, unfortunately one pair had a fault, so contacted Northwest Territory. Took them 3 weeks and multiple messages sent by me via their website, email and even Facebook to get a reply. Now this should have been a red flag and in hindsight... Anyway was asked to return the shoes with the fault. So sorted the return and Royal Mail tracking shows them delivered 27/01/26 As of today 11/03/26 I have yet to receive even a reply from Northwest Territory despite countless emails and website messages Facebook messages. I did manage to get a reply on Facebook but apparently this is their social media team who couldn't do anything but forward my message to customer services, though it appears even they are being ignored as well. So NT are currently in possession of my shoes and my money and don't even have the common decency to reply to my messages and contact me.
So I have to say that this company is truly disgusting and treats it's customers with a level of contempt unrivalled. So I have to urge anyone even thinking of buying their products to really think twice, while their stuff isn't bad, if you do have an issue you will not get any assistance and you will get ripped off and lose your money.

Shocking Communication and No Resolution

I placed Order #13672 for two pairs of boots. One pair was refunded at the last minute due to “stock issues” only after the parcel had already been processed.

The remaining pair was supposedly dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked 24, however the tracking has not updated for over 10 days and the parcel has not been delivered.

I have emailed multiple times requesting clarification and a resolution and have received no response.

Order #13672 – No Response, No Delivery, Poor Service

At this point I do not know whether my order has even been properly dispatched, and I am still waiting for a refund for the undelivered goods.

Extremely disappointing service and a complete lack of communication. I expect a refund immediately and will escalate further if necessary.

Wish I’d read reviews before I bought…

Wish I’d read reviews before I bought from them! Ordered some boots for a Christmas present, then spoke to the person I was buying for that asked for walking shoes instead. Contacted customer service to ask to cancel order as it hadn’t been dispatched, got not reply. The boots got sent out anyway. When they arrived I went through the process for a return (had to go through their chat bot as customer services again ignored my email). Got a random email from Royal Mail with returns label. Sent off the boots, tracking said they received them 6 days later. Never got any email from the company confirming receipt of the boots or that my refund would be processed. Again, I emailed customer services to ask if they could confirm they had received the boots back and they ignored me. 2 weeks later I finally went through my bank as the 4 emails I’d sent weren’t replied to. Then a week after that I finally had a refund email, which is clearly automatic and no actual reply from customer services. I believe this only came because I’d got my bank involved. Awful company, do not use.

Coming apart

Bought the boots, looked nice, comfortable, used twice and stitching coming away. Contacted company and had no response.

This ‘company’ is a complete joke

This ‘company’ is a complete joke. They don’t seem to have a customer service department and don’t care about their customers at all. Avoid like the plague. Sent me the wrong item and cannot get hold of them. They do not reply to any messages or emails and don’t have a phone number

I am having to chase a refund through my bank as my return hasn't been acknowledged and I have had no response from the company.
Buy from a third party seller or just avoid completely. There are better shoes out there from more reputable retailers.

Soles peeling and leaking

Soles have soon peeled the thin outer layer, uncomfortable thinning footbed, cracks in the soles that cause water to leak in on wet surfaces.
Top layer gets saturated quickly in the rain and soaks through.
Only worn them a couple of times a week for short walks.
Very poor quality. Unfortunately I can't give a zero star review.

Slip flops

Was given a pair of their Fiji flip flops as a birthday present. Looked great with an attempt at boot style grip pattern on the sole. But the surface of the upper is so slippery that it makes them treacherous to wear. A ridiculous design fault.
And customer service response? Zero!

Terrible customer service - do not use

Terrible customer service. If you have issues with your products after the 30 day period they do not respond at all to any form of contact, even though legally they must resolve the issue.

I've tried to contact them 6 times over 2 months and not a single response.

Do not use this company!

Customer service at Patrickshoes very poor

I, too, wished I had looked at the reviews before buying a pair of walking boots that, when I wore them for the first time in the rain, my left foot got wet. Contacted Mountain Warehouse, as I purchased from them, and have had to send photos for them to send to Patrickshoes and have not received a response from Patrickshoes to date

Great Boots

Ordered some boots after reading quite a few reviews, wanted some leather ones that are waterproof. Well these turned up 5 days early and the quality of craftsmanship in the making of these is excellent, when they turned up they were it a really good looking box and they even came with a bag and a set of extra laces, which for me is a bonus. Did a 5 mile walk to start breaking them in and only started to pinch on one heel after about 4 1/2 miles. Would definitely recommend these.

Excellent customer care

I purchased two pairs of women's walking shoes and socks from Northwest Territory. I had to contact their Customer Support department with a query which was handled promptly, politely and professionally. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company for their products and customer care.

Excellent quality and comfort and value for money.

Having paid out for boots from big names Harkila and Barbour I was disappointed by both as the lace hooks and holes deteriorated quickly. I discovered both wer made in China!! I searched the market and came across Inuvik boots by Northwest Territory at less than half the price of the formers. I have been wearing them for over a year and they are showing no signs of wear or deterioration in any area, particularly the metal fixings and I wear them mostly on the beach walking my dogs. They also support my knees very well whilst my Patella is mending.
I recommend them highly.

The product is not wearing well

The product is not wearing well.
My waterproof boots have worn in the 6 weeks I have had them. The heels are already worn down. I did contact mountain warehouse to complain and they said they sold forward this onto you which was a week ago. I have heard nothing. Order no M29254418.

Their customer service must be shocking as I've never had an issue with their footwear. Really well made if a bit heavy. Indestructible. Used them in my window cleaning days and they lasted and lasted, never let in water and put up with unbelievable abuse. Every other brand I tried gave up after 3 months and were a lot more expensive.

No Customer Service

Initial order was through Mountain Warehouse but item came directly from Northwest Territory. Order arrived promptly but wrong item supplied in wrong colour. Completed Customer Service form but can't get any response. No phone number. Mountain Warehouse advise I liaise directly with Northwest Territory. Going round in circles. Unhappy. 😔

Absolute Gash

Bought a pair of their boots from Mountain Warehouse and sent them back. Absolutely awful. The cheapest, looking, ill fitting boots I’ve ever tried on. The website tries to imply they are UK made, but they are cheap rubbish, made in India. I’ve seen better orthopaedic shoes.
