I’m in the middle of a claim on my insurance policy with this firm so can not give a full review yet.
So far I’ve paid the vets the £99 excess fee on my insurance .
I’ve also had to pay the vet (vale vetinary centre in Honiton Devon £ 50 to fill their part of the claim form in.
Ie giving full vetinary history of the dog etc. Which is not covered under the insurance policy.
The insurance company then asked me to do a review on there service which I have not done.
I also want £50 from my insurance company if they want me to spend my time doing a review on them.
Do not know who put the reviews on here say they paid their claims with in a couple of days. But I have been waiting a week and it’s not been paid.
So think all the previous reviews about payment in a couple of days must be FAKE!
It’s now been 10 days since we submitted the claim and they still have not paid it!!!!!

Excellent service, although I was kept waiting on the phone for more than 12 minutes. Your Customer service staff member is very pleasant to talk to and she explained the reason for the £12 plus increase but, nevertheless, I was happy to continue to renew the policy.

Title: "Diamond" in name only. Left with a £1,500 bill and debt collectors.
"Do not be fooled by the 'Diamond' branding or the £4,000 limit. My dog had life-saving surgery, but Now Pet applied hidden sub-limits that were never made clear at renewal. They capped anaesthesia at £250 and hospitalisation at £100, leaving me with a £1,500 shortfall. I am now being charged late fees by my vet because Now Pet refuses to pay for standard clinical care. Currently escalating to the Financial Ombudsman (Case Ref: PNX-6000947-X5W7). Under the FCA Consumer Duty, this product is a failure. Avoid if you want real protection for your pet."

I’ve renewed with Now Pet for 3 years now. Premiums are pretty decent even though we have a dog with long term meds that we claim for each month. Claims are easy to process and get paid out mostly without quibbles. Just spoke to Robin regarding a claim, and she was really helpful.
