Noyce Joyce 

I ordered the nixie clock in the summer of 2021 and have been enjoying it since. There has been one problem of it not keeping time, however. It has always run fast and after the latest firmware update, it is now running slow by about 5 seconds every hour. I wish it were possible to have it sync with my computer time, perhaps through USB, but for now I'll keep working on it.

Received clock in a timely fashion, fun to assemble.
Worked great for bout ten months then just quit working.

Ordered a clock on 1/23/22. Should be delivered about 6 month later (early bird offer). Now - after 11 month i havent got nothing and there is no answer from the shop since 4 weeks. Tried via FB, EMail and website.

Bought this clock as a gift for my son. He loves it and always wanted one.

Great kit, manufacturing tolerances are very tight and with that a few tolerance stacks were at the interference level and a little difficult to work with and required careful application of force to make fit. I believe there is room for improvement in the design of the top and bottom layers as they’re somewhat mobile and allow the clock to tilt or sag.

While this is NOT a project well suited for autonomous assembly by a child, I assembled this with 2.5 year old son on my lap and he patiently watched along and was really enchanted once we powered on. A lot of fun

The instructions and video tutorials make this assembly seem really, REALLY simple but that wasn't my experience.

Be prepared to be patient! I will chock some of my struggle assembling this clock to personal ineptitude but these pieces are so precise I found myself anxiously forcing parts together.

Luckily nothing broke and when I had the finished product I was very happy.

One thing to note is that, if not set completely in, the tubes might not turn on. They're not "burnt out" just be sure to set them in properly and you'll be good to go.

I have always wanted a Nixie clock with real tubes and not the fake LED ones that are on the market. The small czech company provides real tubes originating from the USSR. The items arrived well packed and I was so happy about the quality and looks of the Nixie clock that I purchased another one a couple of weeks ago.
The clock could have served in a Russian nuclear powerplant in the 1980, at least this is what the tubes make it look like. But the design of the housing is a modern one, so you get the best of both worlds.

Purchased a Nixie clock, always wanted one and this looked perfect.
I am from the UK and I received my clock within 3 working days of ordering. I had read some feedback about delays in getting the goods but this was during covid times and there are absolutely no issues now.

Clock arrived perfectly packed and its even better in reality. Sure, you can get cheaper clocks, but if you are looking for something that is beautifully crafted and spectacular to watch then this is the one for you.

One feature not pointed out in the instractions is that the clock has an internal memory, so once set you can unplug and move around without having to reset.

Very happy indeed, buy with confidence.

Small company from Czech Republic known for 3D simo pen started new brand "Noyce Joyce".
I saw their nixie clock as Facebook ad (good ad targeting btw) and decided to order them although they were not cheap. But nixies arent cheap nowadays.
After assembly I had a issue with blinking neon lamp between nixies. It sould have disappear by itself in few weeks but it didn't. So I've contacted support, they replied in 1 day or so. Clocks were sent for repair by me and repaired within 3 weeks by Noyce Joyce company.
Thanks for nice clock and I hope they'll last as long as possible. Nixies are really beautiful and watching them makes you calm.

I purchased the nixie clock kit at the beginning of July last summer. While it did take 4+ months to receive the kit, the customer service team at Noyce Joyce sent me emails in August and October letting me know that shipments were delayed due to short supply of the number tubes.

I received the kit yesterday (11/8) and proceeded to assemble it with my son straight away. The kit is well laid out, with each bundle of parts in its own little compartment. The assembly instructions are well written and easy to follow.

The instructions state that assembly would take 1-2 hours, but it took us about 25 minutes. Assembling the kit is essentially putting together the precut pieces. The circuit board itself is also fully pre-assembled and ready to go out of the box.

The pieces that make up the clock body are all metal (aluminum). There is no plastic to be found in this kit. Some of the pieces do fit together *very* snug. I had to break out my small tack hammer to persuade some of the side sections to slot together fully.

The only other tricky bit is attaching the top and bottom pieces. Each has connectors that link the clock circuit board to the control circuit board. If the connectors are not lined up properly, the buttons to set the time and functions will not work. We had to reseat these after powering it on the first time as we discovered the buttons were unresponsive. Once the connectors were lined up correctly everything worked as expected.

The digits shine warmly with a nice orange hue. They are easy to read when viewing the clock straight on. By default the clock alternates between time and date every few seconds, but this can be disabled in the settings. Also, the clock only functions in 24-hour time; there is no AM/PM capability.

All in all I think this is a great kit. The assembly experience was fun, and seeing the real vintage tubes in action is fantastic. The wait for shipping made me doubt that I would ever actually receive anything, but NJ came through in the end!

I was really pleased with the self-assembly Nixie clock, it's a great talking point in our sitting room. The aluminium alloy components are precision made.

This kit is an absolute delight to build and when completed makes a super piece of art that will not look out of place in any room.
This kit actually is the second one sent from Noyce Joyce as the first one became lost in transit but patience and determination on both sides saw the compensation process followed carefully and at that point a second could be sent out which arrived in less than 48 hrs.
I cannot praise this customer service element enough especially in a world of scammers and the like it is refreshing to have this level of attention to ensure their product gets safely to its destination. WELL DONE!

The clock is about to be assembled by hand, but I had to use a small bamboo cutting board to help me use a good pressure against the table to click parts into possition. I was pretty affraid that I will break sometning, but the tiles are quite strong and riggid. Finally, the clock is perfectly working. The separating dots are not perfectly aligned. This makes the clock looks even cooler. But be aware of it. The glass tubes are not exactly the same. I was also surprised by the strong cable ending – that ending where it should be curved into the connector. Everything ended-up well and I enjoy the clock. It gives warm orange light, it shows a current date every 10 seconds by default, but this can be changed following the manual.

Surprised by the quality of the nixie clock kit I received. There was a substantial delay in receiving the product due to, broadly speaking, covid. They communicated with me regarding the status of my order and have been very quick to respond to inquiries I had regarding shipment details.

As a Canadian citizen, living currently in Prague and having the possibility of meeting the guys from Noyce Joyce, I'm proud to say that I had wonderful time in there and nothing but great experience with their services and products. I guess this person Ben must have stepped out of bed on the wrong foot that day....

I would have voted 0 stars if it were an option.

They sent a clearly faulty product, and they make every excuse in the world as to why it is not their problem, and they say:
“ Hello,
It is 11:30pm and can’t ask my colleague from packing what was in your in package and if the gift was or wasn’t there. It is also completely inconsequential now as you already filled a dispute. Otherwise, I would talk to my colleague tomorrow, check the camera if necessary and if it wasn’t there, we would send it separately in an envelope.
There was supposed to be this card included btw - (this is where they sent a link that showed the promised gift that they never delivered, trustpilot doesn’t allow links, so it’s not here) .
That FedEx number won’t ever show anything, because we obviously didn’t sent with them but with DHL instead. This is an example of one of the packages that got lost and FedEx won’t acknowledge in any way - (this is where if post the link they sent, but trust pilot doesn’t allow links). I can’t discuss it further without disclosing customer personal or business information.
We won’t accept the dispute and refund without returning the product first, if we did, there would be no reason for you to send it after that. If you are familiar with PayPal refund process then you know, that if you send the product back and provide PayPal with correct tracking information, you are pretty much guaranteed to get your money back.
There is no point in continuing this discussion, PayPal will handle this.

They promise a gift, and they refuse to send it.

This company is a sham and they send garbage material at a premium.

Do everything you can to avoid them.

Beautiful design and a very unique piece alittle more difficult to assemble had one good hang up quick email to support and all is well would definitely recommend if you love retro tech

Nixie Clock are inspirational thing for me and each boy and girl, if they do not afraid to put together it by own hands. It was done during one hour and very happy moments with this clock I expect also in future!

Took quite a while to get here, if it wasn't for the emails I would have thought it was a scam, but eventually it got here. Some of the parts vere a very tight fit, several times I was afraid I'd break something. Instructions vere easy to follow though. Clock looks great, love the retro orange glow of the numbers.
