Made a typing error (wrong date), I know stupid of me. Tried to correct it with customer service. System won't let them correct the error, I simply have to buy new tickets. Travel dates are 1 month out. Don't like companies that try to make money through legal terms
Cleaner toilets on Indian trains!
Such a shame Dutch international trains are so old, unreliable.... And dirty. I've been in cleaner train toilets in India. There's a reason the NS only earns 1 1/2 stars ..... Unfortunately, services and quality seem to have fallen over the years. Let's not even talk about reliability.... So many problems and last minute cancelations.
So sad to write this... As we were also traveling first class this time. There really was a quality difference on the Belgium and France trains. I hope there's some much needed money coming to update this tired line. Nothing against the personnel, who are always pleasant and professional.

Trains are nice but don’t get stuck with cash. Only cards in zandam and nobody there to help . When I called the help line she told me to jump the gate and pay at the other end . That’s what happens when you give away humans jobs

I went to a congres on saturdaymorning with the train from Amsterdam to Rotterdam . I wanted to study at ease . But than the train had 10 minutes delay , than 20 minutes . So I would miss my connection with the Intercity at Schiphol. I went home and took my car, so I still was in time .
After all the train was delayed 29 minutes , because of logistic reasons , so it was'nt 30 minutes and I got no refund.

0 Stars - very expensive and always late - provided the train is running in the first place. Plan at least 2 hrs for a 30 min trip. Horrible service even worse company. Thank god for remote work as I’m sure I would have lost my job for not being able to ride to work. Rent a car it’s easier - waste of money to take the train and is way too frustrating
No communication, no trip updates!
NS international sell tickets, but do not provide any updates about changes, such as delays, cancelations, etc., in your trip.
Last 5 times I was left on ice during my trips within Germany. The WhatsApp response is extremely late and useless.. Call center seems to be out of date.
Although it might not be their fault for fallacies on German railway, NS International has its responsibility to inform it's customers and communicate trip details.
Their app is also disfunctional.
Take action, or you'll lose your customers. I'm definitely taking a break from this service provider/seller.

Circumstances changed and we needed to bring our train forward 1 day but they would not allow us to do this as we didn’t pay for the fee to do this when we booked.
We offered to pay the extra money to change the booking. Customer service was shocking and the service centre were extremely rude and were not willing to help!

They mention that my train was on certain track and didn’t show up because they decided to change the track last minute without updating the información online, so instead of making a 40 minute way home I had to travel 2:30 minutes to get home because of their lack of professionalism, btw I paid 40 eur for this awful train ride!

ATTENTION ATTENTION...My biggest mistake was, that i never looked before for the Reviewers here at trustpilot. So I dont have to add so much information.
Only that NS International is one of the most "unprofessional" companys, i've ever seen.
I've booked a ticket, which I never received. In addition to that, i tried to solve this problem more than 5 times a 30 Minutes by phone. Nobody could help me. Not only for organize me ride to Vienna - no they even weren't able to send me my money back.
Now my bank is in action to solve this problem.
It is very sad that the friendly stuff at the phone arent able to do any action.

I was living for one year in the Netherlands so I know pretty much what's going on with the NS trains... delays, cancellations, some days no trains at all, horrible customer service in the stations.
About NS international, my trip from the Netherlands to Germany in October was cancelled 20 minutes before the train was supposed to leave. I was waiting 2 hours to ask the customer service and understand what happened (they were telling us if you have a place to stay at night, we recommend you to go there for the night). 2 months have passed since the cancellation and I am still waiting for the refund. Of course I cannot contact them in any way - the call waiting takes so much time & they do not reply in the emails!
Horrible experience, NS international you owe me 83 euros!

You can never confidently count on NS
You can never confidently count on NS. Delays, canceled trains and other miscellaneous issues are so incredibly common. In a small, well-organized country, there’s no reason for such a poorly managed rail system.
Trains are typically unreliable, overcrowded and dirty. A news headline about NS reducing trains prompted me to come leave this review (as I sit on a NS train to Groningen that’s covered in graffiti and completely packed with people, even at off-peak hours).
I’m not one who enjoys leaving negative reviews, but I hope that public disappointment with NS will inspire improvement. As it is now, it’s a travesty that the Dutch government outsourced the trains to this company.

I have tickets for 1st Class with ice…
I have tickets for 1st Class with ice travailing Zurich to koln , manhim change for koln Utrecht. Problem with ice 39 wagon where was located my seat. Ice closed that wagon and there was no place to seat. Conductors write on my tickets can’t travel 1st class. Few hours I was standing and traveling 2nd class.
