BUYER BEWARE!!!
Elderly parents booked a trip to Uluru with NT Now (Holidays of Australia)
They were unable to get Travel Insurance due to their age & pre existing medical conditions.
They sadly contracted Covid for the first time and had to cancel in advance.
No refund, No partial refund, No date change or anything was offered to them.
No compassion whatsoever.
They simply stated 'it's on our T&C's'. They showed zero care for these very sick & elderly pensions and happily banked the total amount of the holiday hotel and tour bookings.
I requested they show proof that they paid those providers in full (hotel/tour), but they have ignored my email. I even offered to donate any partial refund to the Darwin Hospital as goodwill, but no, they will keep the money for themselves, for basic booking work.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
Do NOT send your old people to this travel agent.
Any company that has a 'blanket non-refundable policy' you should seriously avoid, simply book your holiday through the hotel/tour operator themselves.
They will direct you to their T&C's when your trip of a lifetime has been ruined and they have taken thousands of dollars for 'minimal' work. So please read them carefully and then find another way to book your holiday.
Australia, you can decide ... is this Un-Australian?

I have already been in contact with ntnow Sales Manager, she is the one to hyperlink the T&Cs as a response.
This company is unapologetically Profits over People.
That's why I am sharing my experience, I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else - especially to vulnerable elderly people.
ntnow have made it perfectly clear they will not issue any sort of partial refund or offer help, so it's not about the money now, it about warning others to read very carefully before you book with them. Just book directly with the hotel/tour and save yourselves a massive headache.
If no consideration will be made for sick 80 year old pensions that have contracted Covid-19 for the first time, they will doubtfully make allowances for anyone else. So Buyer Beware!
