Thank you for an amazing week!

I have just had an amazing week in Les Arcs 1800 with GCUSC. Myself and the rest of the committee were so impressed with Nuco and the smoothness of the trip from early on in the year planning to being out in resort. Our account manager, Dom, has been amazing with all his support to making the trip such a success. We had amazing reps out in resort. Archie G was part of our room rounds and was amazing throughout the week. He was great fun and made it such an amazing week. All the other reps were also amazing including Stuart R who brought lots of laughs and banter and Alex P both making it an enjoyable week. Phoebe, Emily and Ruth who hosted evenings with our uni were also really lovely reps and made the nights good fun. There were so many more lovely reps and thank you to Nuco for making it such an amazing week.

Good holiday lots of fun

Good holiday lots of fun events and friendly staff, some stuff a bit disorganised but that’s to be expected, but big shout out to our room rep Zoë who was super friendly and helpful even when the French security at our hotel was cosplaying the thought police from 1984p

Clueless, Overpriced, and Misleading

The rooms were ridiculously small — toilets so cramped you couldn’t sit down with the door closed. To make matters worse, there were other people already in our room on arrival, which NUCO had no idea about. That level of incompetence was consistent throughout the trip.

We were repeatedly told (even by a manager) that NUCO wristbands gave bar discounts, yet no one could ever explain what those discounts actually were. I didn’t wear my wristband once and paid the exact same prices and accessed the same venues as everyone else, unless a QR code was required — so what was the point?

Communication was appalling. We weren’t told about stops, travel details, or that free meal vouchers existed. These were only handed out at the docks, despite staff having them from the start of the journey, meaning many people ate beforehand for no reason.

Event pricing was misleading. “Free drink on entry” was advertised as a large beer — we received a 25cl. The BBQ was £14 for a burger and a 33cl drink, while people who paid on the day were charged €8 for the exact same thing.

Staff were largely unhelpful, often responding with “I don’t know” and making no effort to find answers. I feel completely cheated and would never book through NUCO again.

We regret the accommodation issues you experienced, including the room size and occupancy on arrival. While the accommodations we work with for large group trips are not luxury options and some can have limited space, your experience should have been better than it was, and we apologise for this.

Regarding wristbands, Risoul is one of our smaller and newer resorts, so we do not have as many established relationships with local bars as we do in larger resorts such as Val Thorens or Tignes. However, we do offer some drinks deals at venues in the resort. We’re sorry this was not communicated clearly during your trip and will review our processes to improve this for future trips.

With respect to the event, the description stated:
"Fuel up for the RailJam by pre-ordering your burger and beer! Whether you're throwing down tricks or just here for the show, the NUCO Rail Jam is the place to be! Expect epic tricks, tasty bites, and all the vibes you can handle. Compete, cheer, or just soak it all in — this is one you won't want to miss!" We apologise if those who hadn’t pre-booked received a lower price for the same option. This matter has been escalated to our events team for further review.

We greatly appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our operations. While we understand your frustration, we hope this reassures you that we take all concerns seriously.

Events were great but poor emergency planning

Events and lessons etc were great, but knowledge of resort was poor by some and also emergency availability was poor on the night me and my injured friend were left stranded on the streets, since no buses or train operate overnight.

Horrid customer service waiting time

Good if you don't run into any trouble during the booking process, which you most likely will. It's like mission impossible trying to reach a real person on their Live Chat if you need help with anything more complicated than what their AI chatbot can handle. I have had to wait for over an hour in front of the webpage on several occasions for a response. This subsequently made me double booked on my airport transfer and lost money.

What a Week - thank you Bells

We had Bells Harris-Johnstone as our main rep and she looked after us so well. Answering any questions and making sure we knew all the info. She also REALLY bought the vibe to the aprees and got us all up on the tables it was SUCH FUN! The skiing was amazing and there was themes and stuff to do every night! Thank you to Bells and to NUCO for the best week ever!

Trip to Val thorens

Trip to Val thorens

Started off great, learnt how to ski, had some fun nights out etc.

Unfortunately was cut short after a bad ski accident and had to be airlifted to hospital.
Customer service was a bit mediocre with handling everything, but managed to get it all sorted in the end.

Overall if it wasn't for injuring myself would have been an amazing trip

they were all so lovely

they were all so lovely, we had an issue with the driver on the way there as he was making us a bit uncomfortable with some comments and nuco handled it perfectly. the reps were all so nice and so much fun, more friends than workers. abi rosy and johnnie were so good and cant wait for our next trip with them

We had the best time in Les Arcs!!

We had the best time in Les Arcs!!! Everything ran very smoothly and the reps were so fun, especially our room rep Monty! He made sure we were all doing okay and having a good time and was always there if we needed him — he made the week that much better!

Had the best holiday ever

Had the best holiday ever ! Bells was such a caring and fun rep thank you so much to her for making our holiday so fun! She was so knowledgable and helped us get through the week knowing exactly what we should be doing and when. There were so many fab activities. Bells is the most incredible rep, person and human being known to mankind. Defo would recommend to all uni students.
