Very slow delivery, suspected tax dodgers.
Delivery very slow (24 days), but got it in the end. Seller was very slow to dispatch and although email communications were friendly, the seller refused to provide a tracking number and avoided answering direct questions. In fairness the website and order confirmation emails do highlight that delays are likely, but don't make it clear just how long these delays are going to be (states up to 8 days - not 24).
This website presents as a UK listed company (.co.uk), but the address listed on the website is a postal forwarding address in Poole used by 50+ other companies. No VAT registration is displayed on the website, no VAT numbers or charges are listed in email receipts, and there is no record of this company at companies house or HMRC.
The charge on your Paypal account will come from a company called EUNITEX Ltd, which are a seperate entity registered with HMRC, but without any declared links to nutricentral.co.uk, and owned by a single person with a UK address. Different address, different contact email and mobile number. EUNITEX Ltd files accounts as a micro company, claiming almost no earnings every year, which means no tax is paid.
Why? Because this is likely a tax dodger trying to avoid VAT charges. They could easily display a VAT number on their website and VAT charges in email receipts, but they don't. It is also possible that this company actually operates from outside the UK with help from within, which could be why many reviews here state that delivery takes so long, (products initially posted from outside the UK). The 'company' then claims delays are due to Royal Mail delays and strikes etc. This could also explain the efforts to avoid paying VAT.
If you order from this website, you MAY get what you've ordered, eventually - I did. But this website is likely breaking UK tax law, takes Paypal payments using a company with a different name, and deliberately hides any link to nutricentral.co.uk to avoid flagging to HMRC. This website uses Paypal, which can make things tricky for you if you need to try and get your money back. When using Paypal you lose your credit card protection under UK law and Paypal buyer protection is much weaker, (Paypal always favours sellers as they pay the fees). Sellers can often get away with it and avoid having to refund you.
Be wary of using this company, you may get what you ordered, but nothing about the website looks legitimate. You may struggle to get a refund if you run into problems.
