Server down for 4 days and not answering support
I used their hosting services since May 2021 without any problems. On January 12, 2022, time 00:22 in my country, they sent an email which was:
"Hello,
We are planning a major maintenance on the S101 server, we recommend to create a backup from your cPanel interface and download it to your computer.
In case of any information loss we are not responsible.
Thanks."
I saw this email at about 9 o'clock in the morning.
As soon as I could, I tried to login to my cPanel in order to get the latest backup of my settings and website. The cPanel itself, my website and the entire server was down.
Never mind, I thought, after some hours the cPanel will be back online... Checked again, after some hours, the same. I opened a support ticket, asking when it will be online. No response. Checked in the evening, during night, in the morning, nothing. Checked on the next day, the same. Their chat is stopped only these days, why?
I opened a new ticket on January 14, no response. My tickets are marked as closed, without any answer from their support.
Late on January 15, I changed hosting provider. 4 days down without an announcement? A generic email to inform about when will the service be back online? Too bad, guys! You should respect the money and the websites (the work) of others!
