The heating element is not very robust. I have x6 bathroom towel heaters in total and I have had to replace x2 heater elements todate. Whilst I have x2 further heaters that are not coming on.
As a product the actual radiator is excellent in look and construction.
However the actual heating element and control is not very reliable and is obviously of poor quality and or poor design.
Poor element construction and design or poor control components that result in failing to do what they are meant to do, and that is to switch on and maintain heating setting?

We live in South Wales, our plumber recommended NWT in North Wales for radiators because of their wide choice of aluminium radiators and excellent customer service. Scott emailed us with a comprehensive list of radiators which helped to make our decision making very easy.
We are delighted with the radiators and valves which arrived very quickly. They look sleek and modern. But most importantly they are very energy efficient.

Upon returning goods, you need to post them at your expense and at your peril, there is then a hidden restocking fee which in my case was £100, out of nowhere, not challengable, not specified beforehand.
Their communication is great, just the whole process falls down if you need to return, I would not recommend or use again, better to pay more up front for peace of mind.

Here's my review of the 100 x 60cm brushed stainless steel towel rail that I bought from NWT Direct this week. Its the classic curate's egg - good in parts. NWT's site was easy to use and my order arrived promptly within a couple of days - great stuff. The shipping cardboard box was lightweight and notably damaged on arrival, but the inner packing saved the towel rail itself. The main part of the rail is made to a cosmetically high standard with really nice welds. So my initial impression was very good. However, there were a few notable problems and concerns. The radiator was actually warped such that once the wall mounts were fitted one of the four horizontal, short mounting leg was about 7mm away from the wall. To be clear it was the radiator that was warped and not the wall. I checked carefully. It did locate into all 4 screwed in mounting "buttons" if pressed very firmly, such that I ultimately didn't need to reject it. Also of note was how badly the mounting legs were welded. There was almost no weld at all to hold the bolt points into the legs. This must be a potential point of failure if the rail ever gets knocked hard. I did wonder if they would fail whilst I was mounting the legs onto the radiator, but they didn't. Finally, the grub screws that secure the rail to the wall mounting "buttons" are very close to the wall and super fiddly to tighten as a result. The design could be so much better in this area. As an additional point the thermostatic heating element that I ordered as a separate, but integral part of the towel rail is somewhat bulky and has a very cheap looking shiny chrome finish to its plastic casing. It really detracts from the radiator's high quality stainless steel finish. So a potentially great product that was notably let down in a number of areas. Hopefully, it will work when I get the electricity connected and will last for many years. DW

An update a week after my first review, now that I've got the towel rail electrically connected. The majority of the horizontal rails (6 of 9) heat up really well. The bottom one remains stone cold after 30 mins. of power on. The one above that is barely noticeably warm. The one above that is pretty good, but not as good as its higher friends. So a bit more disappointment to be honest, as a good part of the two bath towels hanging over it, aren't actually getting any heat input. C'est la vie.

A great bit of kit, the shower drain looks fantastic, there was a mix up with the wrong address put on the delivery, my fault. The part was reordered and as soon as the origional part was received back to NWT the original purchase was reimbursed. Thank you

Visited the showroom and chose a stunningly designed 300mm high radiator to for underneath my bay window. The sales colleague discussed the radiator in detail printed the data sheet out so I was able to check with my installer that the output was sufficient. I was able to see the radiator on a large wall mounted computer screen (nice touch). He was extremely polite and knowledgeable.
Price was good and delivery was arranged direct to my home on a robust pallet shrink wrapped and on my selected delivery time.
I chose this company over an online retailer as I felt reassured, they are on my doorstop and I was confident that the after sales care was going to be of the highest order. Yes I could have got it slightly cheaper on line but favoured the face to face experience.
My radiator is now fitted and looks stunning.

Excellent service, prices and delivery. Thank you to Lee who has an encyclopedic knowledge of the product range to help us navigate the huge range of options available to fit out a new bathroom. The showroom is sufficient to help crystallise ideas with the help of Lee and the website which is very comprehensive. One damaged item replaced speedily with no problem. We will certainly return again for future projects.
