Alfie is absolutely brilliant. I had not driven in over 3 years and within a week Alfie had me test ready. Great teaching style, very friendly and easy to talk to, and very calm, would 100% recommend Alfie. Got me my pass on my first attempt, I’m very happy with this service.

I should made this review a lot sooner! LOL, but Louise from NxtGen is the reason I finally passed my theory test. When I first reached out to her for lessons, the last thing I thought was I was going to pass my theory with her help. I believe she does have a busy schedule too, so to be able to teach her students and help them with theory? that surprised me. But I am so thankful and I am so excited for my first lesson with her at the end of May. Anyone who gets in contact with her and becomes her student? they will have found the perfect teacher. And from all the good reviews? I think it's very clear that she is a good teacher.

I had Mevlud as my driving instructor for 20 hours, went over everything that was needed. Great instructions and talking through my mistakes, encouraging me every step of the way, had my test on Saturday april 26th in ipswich and genuinely felt so calm and relaxed about everything that i needed to do just because of Mevlud being calm and clear on what i needed to do! Thanks again to Mevlud being a great instructor 100% recommend him if you are in ipswich

Mev was my instructor and he’s been fantastic throughout my journey to passing my test. He made sure to guide me and make everything as comfortable as possible to be a safe and competent driver. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Mev is a fantastic driving instructor! My daughter passed today with 0 faults after only having had 22 hours of lessons (and a little driving with me in between). I’ve just passed my driving test after years of trying being put off by incompetent instructors who know how to drive but have no people skills. Louise is an incredible driver and most importantly a brilliant teacher! Wish I had found her earlier. She makes you feel at ease, understands when perseverance is essential to underpin your learning process and patience in abundance. I seriously appreciate everything she stands for to reinforce safety, which in turn creates confidence, equalling a pass!! Thank you Louise , you are truly amazing at what you do. Louise is the best driving instructor without her I could not have passed! She was so patient with me and really helped me to overcome everything that I hated when I first started driving before her. I was ready to give up on driving completely, tried once more with Lou and never did I think I would ever say I’ve passed my test! She made me feel so at ease, and always went the extra mile to always help me even when it’s not even on a lesson. She always made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process even when I started and was very nervous. Thanks ever so much Louise!

I successfully got my driving license! I cannot thank Carlos enough. He helped me make the plan to reach my goal and the both of us kept at it until the end. He honestly made the exam feel fairly straightforward considering how much he ensured I understood and was aware of how I was being examined.Thank you for your patience and advice throughout everything!

I’m going to be entirely honest. I had a rough learning experience. I’m autistic and really struggled with a lot of aspects of driving that had nothing to do with car control - reading other road users, juggling attention, switching ‘modes’ between town and national speed limits. My learning was interrupted by Covid multiple times, I had instructors quit on me multiple times, I’d reached out to literally every single instructor in my area only to be booked onto months long waiting lists for lessons. NextGen expanding into my area felt like my final chance.

My first instructor with them wasn’t great but they were very accommodating with the switch over to another instructor. I am so fortunate it was Diane. Diane, as a former teacher, had knowledge and understanding not only of the car and the road but how to actually teach me. It was a long process and not a cheap one but it was worth every penny. When I started with her, I felt like passing my test was literally impossible but she never gave up on me. She was encouraging where she needed to be but understood where and when she should push me. Her feedback was clear and if I didn’t get it at first, she would try different ways until I did.

The difference independence is going to bring to my life really cannot be understated and I honestly do not think I would have ever gotten there without Diane. I’m giving this not because I passed on my first try but because I know if I had failed, Diane would have gotten me there eventually.

My driving instructor was Alfie Faulkner and I have been having lessons with him since October. Today, thanks to him, I passed my driving test first time!! Alfie is very patient and kind and is a great teacher, I could not have done this without him. Thank you!!

Louise Rylley-Borrett is by far the best driving instructor! I simply wouldn’t have been able to pass without the patience and support that she gave me. I was very anxious and I started to think that driving just wasn’t meant for me. I was quite nervous to begin with but found that Louise was the best instructor I could ask for, as she made me feel safe when driving and slowly boosted my confidence so that I never felt that driving was stressful and I always looked forward to my lessons.I cannot thank Louise enough for her patience and help throughout the process, including the many conversations we had that helped me stay calm and ease any worries I had. Couldn’t have wished for a better teacher. Louise just has this way of teaching that makes everything click. Really recommend!!

Louise made me so comfortable. Always gave good guidance. I didn't have many hours with her and then i was test ready she got me in very quickly and always gave positives. I would 1000000 % recommend her.

Honestly have never known customer service like this! No apology for giving my daughter a new car for the day of her first test - after having an intensive course in a different car and having to wait weeks for a test date. Then to do it again to her on her second attempt! Taking money for training in a car that was not going to be used for the test and knowing so. It’s criminal. My daughter has lost her confidence in driving which has put her back now a while. Terrible.
