My experience with Oar health has been quite positive overall. It was easy to get the Naltrexone prescription and I pretty much started on it right away. First dose was rough as I did fill nauseated b... See more

The precise and easy to understand process and steps to take regarding doses and what to expect were outstanding. Additionally, the "check ins" were designed perfectly in terms of timing and well thought out in terms of anticipating my actual perceptions and feelings/moods which made the experience feel 'tailor made" for me. Just Outstanding!!!

OAR health has helped me in ways I didn’t know possible. I am back in control of my choices and I would recommend OAR to anyone struggling with alcohol.

As a retired RN I am so relieved to see this scientific method available to the public in a discreet manner. As a veteran, my PCP would refer me to a psychiatrist for Naltrexone. Per current criteria they prescribe after demonstrated abstinence and tell you it prevents cravings. Any relapse is on the patient's mental health despite the fact alcohol is physically addictive.
Oar Health is going to help millions like AA claims to, but this is a real med for a real medical affliction.
I'm meeting my goals. Thanks!!!

I stopped drinking 4/3. Craving were unbelievably strong, but my mental and physical health were at critical mass. I started taking Oar 4/10. The cravings didn’t “vanish”, but I did notice, over time, they became much more manageable.
I take my Oar religiously between 0700-0800 every day, keep myself busy and have found abstinence much easier than previous attempts. To tell the truth, the only time I’ve been tempted to drink was after reading the email about the effects of alcohol while taking Oar.
Thank you for the temporary, I hope, crutch in my pursuit to lifelong abstinence.

It’s quit easy and they check in on you.
I was confused on subscription when sending new meds though

I was drinking a bottle of wine every night. My husband was very concerned about how much I drank. I came to realize that it was making me miserable but couldn't stop on my own. I had no will power to stop. The morning headaches and being more depressed every day was not worth the temporary relief from anxiety. Alcohol is a depressant so I was making my depression worse. I kept seeing the ad on TV about a prescription drug that could help. I finally ordered and started on it three weeks ago. The naltrexone 50 mg daily has been a life saver for me. I admit I was skeptical. I can walk by the wine and am not even tempted. I might as well be passing an isle of canned goods. I was spending over $300 a month for wine. I highly recommend OAR.

I’m only on day 4 of taking the medication but by day 2 I don’t have an urge to drink. We had a celebration for one of our family members yesterday- I had a small glass of champagne and did not want anymore, normally I would help finish the bottle

4 weeks into taking the medication and after day 1 it was like a switch flipped and cravings were mostly gone. Occasionally I’ll get cravings that last 3-5 minutes. Results so far have exceeded expectations. Minimal side effects

I had an incredible experience with Oar Health. Honestly, it’s surprising that something this effective isn’t more widely known or accessible. The treatment has been a complete game changer for me. It gives you real control and a practical path forward, which is something a lot of people struggle to find.
The process was straightforward, professional, and handled with care. You can tell this was built with real intention to help people, not just as another service.
Huge thank you to Jonathan and the team for making this available. This has the potential to truly change lives, and I hope more people become aware of it.

It’s helping to increase the time between urges to have a drink..

Easy enrollment process. Support emails are nice and I appreciate not getting spammed with a bunch of other product recommendations. The prescription is working as described and I am very happy with the results so far.

I was pleasantly surprised with the available resources, such as the Smart Recovery support group. Plus having a clinician available for questions.
