YAY!!!! Finally a proper local radio station since that awful takeover of Radio Plymouth by Greatest Hits Radio. I am glad that people of Plymouth like me have a proper locally owed radio station. I love that I can access the station on my DAB+ radio. So I don't have use my mobile data when I want to listen to the station on go.
As an already avid radio listener, I am so happy that Ocean City Radio is broadcasting in my home town of Plymouth. The company has seen me through some tough times, personally, by the presenters being so personal, relatable and approachable. The content is varied, as are the presenters, and has a broad range of old and current music and it even caters for local talent too! I love to listen to the current affairs that are discussed and the interviews that are done are so professional! The station is so easy to get hold of and communicate with and I have to say, it was amazing throughout all of the COVID-19 lockdowns by providing a great service to the local community, even going so far as to reach out to those who were elderly and/or living alone.. I hear that the station will be moving to DAB soon and I'm so happy that I'll be able to pick the station up in my car or when I'm out and about in the local area! Keep it up, guys - let's get you all the recognition you deserve!
