Was about to buy a King size but didn`t after reading the reviews on here. Thankyou Trust Pilot and all those that have contributed. It seems like I have swerved a bullet and having recently been ripped off by a Garage through not reading the reviews first I am so thankful

I purchased a Dormeo Octasmart double mattress and it has been a complete waste of money. After a short time, it started to sag and has completely lost its shape. It no longer provides any proper support, which has made it very uncomfortable to sleep on.
Instead of improving my sleep, it has actually made it worse, and I often wake up feeling more tired and achy. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and durability.
I would not recommend this mattress to anyone and regret buying it.

I bought an Octasmart mattress topper from them under their 200 NIGHT SLEEP TRIAL. The topper is complete rubbish and despite Dormeo's claims to the contrary it provides no support whatsoever. As far as the money back guarantee goes, well, I emailed them as per the instructions in the small print to arrange a return but I have not had a reply apart from an automated email promising that they would try to get back to me in 48 hours. That was over 7 weeks ago! If you look, you will find reviews from other people who have emailed and phoned to find that the only response they get is an automated email or an answerphone. Clearly Dormeo has no intention of giving refunds and the 200 Night Trial is just a way of convincing people that the topper is of good quality which it isn't.

Mattress collapsed in the 1st year. Not breathable and very sweaty nights. It did not hold its shape at all. Worst mattress I've ever owned would be cheaper to sleep on straw bales would never buy their products again

I bought a super king Octasmart mattress about 4 years ago,2 years later the outer cover started to rip through rotation I complained & received a new mattress without any problems…2 years later my new mattress started to collapse along the edges I then contacted Dormeo someone came out for an inspection.Now Dormeo are saying because I take longer than usual due to my musculoskeletal problems I have caused the problem & they will not honour their 10 year warranty…What a pathetic excuse to not honour the warranty The company has no credibility whatsoever by using cheap quality goods.I would of been better off buying a cheap mattress without the hype

You can actually see on the TV ad that this is a cheap product in appearance but unfortunately not in price. A skinny piece of foam sandwiched between some thin sheeting. And people still fall for the hype.

I purchased Dormeos Octasmart mattress topper, however, based on my experience I wouldn’t recommend this product, I found it to be of poor quality, and the aftercare service is slow to react & respond. I can only assume it’s a delay tactic to exceed your 30-day right to reject rights as a consumer.
In the first 22-days I had the mattress it came apart twice in the middle of the zip, each time I fixed this before I contacted Customer Services by phone for support, who direct you to use email. Even though I provide a detailed description & attached photo a few days later they reply with a series of questions and request for more photos. You supply the requested information only to receive another request a few days later with more questions and photos. Another 15-days passed and they say they’re still investigating, I only want to exchange for a mattress that doesn’t come apart and the inners spill out.

I've had this Octasmart Plus Topper for just 3 months. I can tell you it is rubbish, there are now dips in it that can't be pressed out proving that it is not memory foam at all, it is a cheap blue sponge both myself and my Wife have suffered hip pain because of this poor excuse for a Topper, this is a Total rip off and i beg people not to order one they do not do what it says on the tin ie the Dormeo advert, in fact the advert is a lie, i have sent Dormeo an E Mail i will see if they reply, at the moment its in the shed. If someone nicked it i would laugh I really would, my neighbour has one from a different company and says it is brilliant with straps on it, i can't name the company but can say aren't Panda's lovely animals ?.

The worst mattress you can think of. It's like sleeping onto a 40 year old stray mattress. Surely money down the drain!!

I have had a right game with it, I ordered the mattress and when it came I opened it to have a look at it, it’s not suitable so I contacted dormeo straight away and they replied that I could not return it as I opened it up ??? So I had to get onto tradng standards in which I told them under the consumer act 2013 I had 14 days in which to notify them that I no longer wanted the mattress. I now have to personally return the item but because it’s been opened there saying I may not get a full refund.

After one uncomfortable night’s sleep we with considerable difficulty managed to return the mattress. However we didn’t get a full refund as advertised on the tv commercial. We were charged £40 to return the mattress which they tell us is written in their small print. This is definitely not mentioned on their television commercial

Wouldn’t trust them. Their tv ad has been telling us that the sale offer must end Monday. It’s been saying that for weeks.

Bought this matress topper 4 weeks ago and still experiencing chemical smells from. Have aired every week for 24 hours with no joy. I have this in the spare room doing nothing. Would never buy again from Dormeo. After unpacking it also was not into right shape till 5 days later!

My care support worker ordered a mattress topper last summer for me as I suffer with a bad back and according to the advert it’s super supportive etc I thought it would help my spine, it’s had the opposite effect as within a couple of months it had dipped in all the supposedly ‘supportive’ places. Despite turning it on a monthly basis. I weigh 9st 7 and I’m 5 ft 7 so it’s not like I’m overweight. I’m really disappointed with the quality. I contacted dormeo in April 2025 (approx 8 months after purchase) regarding this issue and I’m still sending pictures in of labels and levels to show the dips. Terrible customer service. I’m the advert it states it can be used on the floor yet I’ve got a decent mattress underneath but they want pictures of the mattress it’s on! Don’t waste your money! There’s no octa anything just a piece of blue piece of sponge! I Would also love to know how they advertise a high trustpilot rating on their website? They cite 5 star ratings!! False advertising???

I know we have been in a heatwave but found the topper very hot. Organised collection with some difficulty and different messages...Collection cost £45!!!! But have no room to keep it. Made in Poland not UK ..that's not a problem though.

After sales on return and refund very good though....just exhoribitant cost for return.

It’s really poor and it annoys me that they keep pretending that it’s so good on their adverts

Well, after reading reviews, all I can say is I'm glad I cancelled my order. i'd bought a new bed, minus mattress. Heard a lot about Dormeo and how good they apparently were, so decided to order one. Was given a delivery date, but when that arrived, no mattress. Contacted them, given another date, yet again a no show. And this meant I couldn't sleep in my new bed, without a mattress. So phoned to cancel. Reason given for non delivery, 'we were too busy.' Then don't give a date, if your not sure you can deliver. Did get a refund, though. Made sure of that. And bought a different brand. And now I thank my lucky stars that I didn't get the Dormeo one. And my advice to those who have had their mattress or topper only weeks or months and can't get a refund, seek legal redress. Dormeo give a long guarantee period and should honour it. Furthermore, if the goods are faulty, they should collect for free. Perhaps a complaint to Advertising Standards Authority wouldn't go amiss, too, as from the sound of it, their guilty of false advertising. Never again would I consider Dormeo. Furthermore, I can't help noticing that Dormeo haven't responded to any reviews. Wonder why?

Started out fine but soon had large dips and bulges where we slept. Couldn't turn it over because of cover, so took cover off for cleaning and turned mattress over. All the insides moved towards the middle so got worse. Tried to turn it back after a while and it seemed like there was just a sponge sandwwich filled with lumps of foam. Danger of rolling off the bed so off to buy a new mattress but not from Dormeo.
