Shield Trousers are made to handle demanding trail conditions, combining durable ripstop construction with flexible comfort for long days on the bike.
Designed specifically for mountain biking, the articulated slim fit with tapered legs keeps fabric clear of drivetrain components while maintaining freedom of movement on technical terrain. The raised back panel provides coverage in dynamic riding positions.
Strategically placed abrasion-resistant panels reinforce high-wear areas at the knees and inner ankles to protect against crashes and repeated friction.
An adjustable waistband system allows you to dial in the fit, while ankle zips help tailor the tapering of the legs.
Finished with durable YKK® zippers throughout, secure double snap waist fasteners and subtle black-on-black embroidered branding.

Aftercare
To maintain performance and water repellency, machine wash on a cool cycle using a technical cleaner such as Grangers Wash + Repel Clothing 2 in 1, which cleans and reproofs in a single wash.
Reproof periodically to keep the trousers performing in wet conditions.

Another fantastic garment from Odyssey! After buying my son a pair he raved about them saying how good they are and he compared them to the so called bigger brands and said Odyssey’s are far better in fit and quality . So I bought a pair and wow yes fantastic quality fit the crotch doesn’t snag on the nose of the saddle feels great riding So YES ! Thank you Chris and everyone at Odyssey 🤟🏻

I have now worn these 3 times, i ride the gravel paths not the trials. I thought they where going to be a little chilli but they were great at blocking the wind and wasnt cold at all. I would recomend these

Too small, although my size allegedly, Stretch is good, very expensive for what it is.

I delayed review until I got the chance to thoroughly test these pants. Very well made and the fabric really does its job on wet and windy rides. When drenched they don't sag, dry quickly and they accept knee pads nicely. I rode with leg zips open as the legs are a very slim fit compared to my usual TLDs and wanted them to fit over five ten ankle boots. I'd like to see a fraction more room in the lower leg but not too much. Price is ball-park for such a pant, reflecting the features and detail - certainly higher-end but matching this level (such as Leatt). Overall, well impressed and will definitely be looking at this developing brand in the near future. Well done so far!

I bought the trousers for my son he told me that the design was made for a mountain biker , he’s had the so called top brands but nothing comes close to the Odyssey ones even to the zipper on the bottom for a mtb boots thank you Odyssey

I love these trousers, they fit really well and don’t slip down your arse like others I’ve had in the past. Material is also nice and stretchy and length is perfect for MTB action.
