Battery failed and almost caught fire…

Battery failed and almost caught fire and was told that they would not refund because the wires used were too small...but it was the wires that they supplied that came in the installation kit. Terrible customer service as it took them over 2 weeks to let me know that they were not going to refund or replace my battery that is 6 months old.

I’m sorry to hear about what happened with your battery—that sounds stressful and frustrating.

However, we believe there may have been a mix-up of companies here. offgrid-store.com only sells Jeep accessories (such as seat covers, interior trim and LED headlights) and we do not sell batteries or battery installation kits of any kind. We also don’t have any record of a battery order or battery-related support case matching the situation you describe.

There is another business with a very similar name that sells off-grid power and battery products, and it’s possible your review was meant for them instead.

To make sure you get support from the right company, please double-check your original order confirmation and website URL. If you believe you did in fact order Jeep products from us, please contact our support at info@offgrid-store.com with your order number so we can investigate further.

Buyer beware!

Buyer beware!

Quote from their own on-line FAQ:

“We can’t accept returns because we have too many orders”

As others have stated, be 100% you have the right part. This company has no interest in allowing returns or refunds.

Purchased an item and wanted to swap it…

Purchased an item and wanted to swap it for a different color. I called the company before my item was ever taken out of the warehouse to try to change the color. They wouldn’t do it. After I received the item I called and emailed for 4 days asking for a return label and still haven’t received it. Complete rip off and terrible customer service. I just started updating my Jeep so all my future purchases will be made elsewhere.
