Ordered microsoft office prof 2019…

Ordered microsoft office prof 2019 online I didn't realise that the activation process is such a nightmare. The numbers are extremally long and the code was not accepted after trying many times. So I called them and it was rejected again. Finally after long conversation and verifications an unkind guy gave a code and then another very long activation number which finally worked. I would not buy this product if i knew.

Organised crime.

I contacted Microsoft on Sunday 1-Aug-2021 about an issue with my Outlook. Support team took control of my computer and said I need to pay $139 and upgrade to Windows 10. This broke my computer.

I spent rest of Sunday through Wednesday (4 days), trying to get it fixed. Microsoft Support transferred me ~21 times between different departments.

And now at the end of Wednesday, "Anthony" is telling me that it is okay for my computer to remain broken, and that it is not his fault nor Microsoft's fault at all. They take no responsibility. They will not help me reload my already purchased Office back onto my computer. Only if I want to buy a new version of Office will they do that.

Shocking system and service

Every single time Microsoft do an "upgrade" they reduce the efficiency of my PC and laptop, add utterly pointless features (do we really need a weather icon on our toolbar?) and if they did not have a complete monopoly on the Windows OS (we can't go to Apple, few of our software providers work on that platform, which is almost as bad anyway). Please LEAVE OUR COMPUTERS ALONE. We don't want or need your pointless upgrades...

I have Microsoft office on my laptop

I have Microsoft office on my laptop, and I have found it to be cumbersome and greatly irritating. My documents end up being greatly altered because of sudden crashes in the system and I can't even try to changes to find out what I lost. Documents jump around, the whole page is highlighted and in danger of being deleted and the general speed is truly horrendous. When I had an old desktop that had free Microsoft office with it, it worked much better but to pay a yearly subscription and deal with something so horrible is truly unacceptable. It would be easier to carve out my documents and letters on stone like Moses than to depend on the messy system I just purchased 3 months ago. I'm glad this is for personal use and not for work because at this rate, I would have lost my job over the incompetent product. I will not be renewing my subscription when it expires early next year.

I"m so frustrated with Microsoft that…

I"m so frustrated with Microsoft that I've been forced to vent my frustration for the very first time on Trust Pilot and every other platform I can find until I get the product I've paid for. In fact I've never complained about anything before but now that Microsoft have my £59.99 and I have no product. This seems to be my only option.

I have been a loyal customer of MS since 2017 when I first bought Microsoft 365 for my MacBook, and I’ve been happily using their software since.

Two days ago I had to upgrade my laptop, I had to re-install all my applications. I contact MS for help as I was having issues downloading the 365 software to my new laptop. I spent four hours this morning chatting to various MS staff online when I discovered that there were in fact two accounts, one with my old email address and one with my new email address. The subscription payment I made in October 2020 went into my old account and as I no longer have access to my old email account there was nothing I could do as they need to send me a code. Every other detail of my account/s is the same, same phone number, same postal address, date of birth etc..I asked if they could please look into these accounts to check these details but the answer was no. The only way to verify that I was the same person with two accounts or that I was the account holder was to send an email with a code to my old address. I kept telling them that my old email address was defunct and that I did not have access to it. The staff I spoke with seemed sympathetic and seems to understand but there was still nothing they could do.

They keep the money I get no product. I told them that as I work for the NHS on a pretty low wage. I can’t afford to lose this money and have no product.

I wonder if anyone out there can help me with advice on what next to do?

thank you ...

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD…

This company has a zero rating for customer service from me.
No portal for complaints or telephone numbers given on their website.
Their Netherland office answers UK queries yet unable to assist on the most basic of questions despite many many phone calls to them. I have been charged twice on their service, yet no one can offer a solution and they informed Amex the billing was correct.

What is going on???

What is going on???

I contacted you the first time monday, where you tried to help me and said that a person from data protection should contact me. Tuesday I phoned again since I didn't hear anything from you! Then I was told 1-3 days is the expected timeline to get it solved. Wednesday then the 3 days were over I phoned again and suddenly the timeline was 3-5 days, but she expected that I would be contacted within 24 hours! Thursday I didn't bother to call you again. Now we have Friday and you haven't called me and I called again earlier and got the same 24 hours answer!
Please fix our account, we need access to our mail in order to do our work. We are missing out on a lot of sales when we don't have access to the email! Who are going to cover this? Contact med ASAP!!! I need access to our business 365 office plan!

Regards
Thomas

Microsoft owe me an Office suite.

My Microsoft Office has functioned for many years. It was preinstalled by my supplier. I recently went to use it only to be confronted by a message that the suite needed to be “repaired”. The “repair” worked except it asked me for a product key that had never been supplied to me. I went onto Microsofts chat line. I was told that as I had lost the product key it was my fault. It was difficult talking to them saying it was not lost but never supplied and an hour ago it was fine but their update now rendered the suite useless. For two and a half hours I argued that they were culpable and that the “repair” should have done just that. After that time I was dismissed by a supervisor offering a monthly subscription model, free for 6 months. I now do not have an office program to run as I refused this appalling offer as I had already paid for this when I bought the computer. I have bills to pay and refuse another monthly bill from these people who owe me a suite. Absolutely lacking in a sense of fairness offering no customer service. I simply wanted a status quo but their systems have denied me this.

Lost my files - Chocolate Fire Guard Team Are As Useful As One Of Those!!!!

Service is appalling lost ability to login due to some weird going ons @ Microsoft so contacted the chocolate fire guard team on the online chat who were very helpful just kept telling me to login and my files would be there and to click forgot password.... Well if it was the simple I would have done so...

My Rating of Olayinka In the Chocolate Fire Guard Team was a massive -999 as she really was that unhelpful, she did manage to transfer my chat to Microsfot space for my refund however but unfortunate for me no one picked up the transfer.

My advice to anyone is to stay away from this shambles of what once was a good company, I choose them as its a brand I knew - I know how much one drive can slow down my PC but opted for 365 in anycase and OMG do I wish I did not.

Office 365 Review....

Office 365 Review....

I really wanted this to work out but today I'm left with no choice but to move over to Google.

Outlook 365: having email on more than one computer doesn't work reliably with IMAP. At best, it may work for a while but ultimately you'll have problems with folders not syncing. I've had countless times where outlook gets stuck and I've missed deadlines due to not receiving emails. If IMAP is so bad, how comes it works flawlessly in Gmail?

Word: it's impossible to write a bullet list with custom bullets. Getting custom bullets to work on another computer will involve developing a complex style sheet. Just changing them using the standard user tools will not work, the custom bullets are stored locally, not in the document!

Having multiple devices across different platforms will inevitably break the style sheets. This level of complexity for something as simple as a basic list of instructions is unworkable, especially when in Google Docs it's a simple click, and it has no problems storing the documents in word format, with custom bullets.

Support: Their non UK call center is hard work. When we did get someone that was legible every problem was a "workaround" rather than a fix.

Todo: Todo is absolutely brilliant, Microsoft brought over the legendary Wunderlist and made the product even better. However, one ridiculous flaw, business accounts cannot invite personal accounts into lists. For us this makes it unusable as most of our clients use personal accounts.

Across multiple products, the Microsoft approach seems to be workarounds as opposed to fixing bugs. Whilst this may be accepted in the tech field, expecting end users to live with this is a head ache I'm no longer willing to endure.

Lose your data guaranteed

If you want to pay for losing your data and get in all kinds of trouble, use Microsoft Office. New versions have gotten worse all the time. It now has huge problems with storage that make you lose important emails and get in all kinds of trouble because of it.

I cancelled my subscription and won't come back again. There are free alternatives that work better.

Microsoft Office 2016 or 365 confusing

Microsoft Office 2016 or 365 now being renamed Microsoft 365. This is typical of Microsoft causing total confusion with the products. Now because of this DAFT renaming it it causing utter confusion when it come time to renew.
i have had a 5 user version for 5 years now. I always purchase another subscription ahead of time (usually when on sale on Amazon or elsewhere. Normally is a simple case of entering the new product code and away we go, Hey ho Microoft has said thats too simple lets mess this one up like Windows 10. Got into my MS account entered code as in previous years. Now instead of carrying on hassle free oh no it insist on downloading and re-installing in spite of the fact it was allready up to date!
It messed up Outlook on my laptop and then totally messed it up on my wifes laptop. It has taken me hours to sort out the muddle the totally goofy renewal did. Now I see that come 21st April (why not do it on the 1st April?) it will now be Microsoft 365 instead of office 365. Add to this the utter confusing renaming Hotmail & Livemail to Outlook.com confusing it with Outlook the mail program. Try getting an Outlook.com e-mail address to work within Outlook the mail program - impossible)
What in the in the world is Microsoft up to. They seem to have lost their way and intent on causing the utmost confusion and making their product as frustrating and time wasting as possible. Try to get help - forget it - Only option is a totally goofy automated bot- If you put daft enough questions in it you eventually get a live chat - but I gave up at that point.
