I wanted to buy a Kindle and was debating between the colorsoft or new Kindle scribe. Office works advertise that they sell both and upon research I found which location stated that both were "in stoc... See more

Office no Works
Will never shop here again. My computer died in less than 10 months. Took it back 7 weeks ago and have not heard anything from them. Absolute rubbish post purchase service. No way to contact other than go instore, only to be told they have no one from service team that can help.
Office Works Glebe Car Park Entry Lacking Signage
Office Works Glebe have had a free parking provided there has been a purchase agreement in place for years and more recently they have added a credit card registration to the entry agreement with out signage advising that you use your credit card in store as proof that a purchase was made. On Monday 23/12/24 I entered the car park with visa card for the first time in years and made then decided to make payment in cash as part of my campaign to keep businesses cash friendly and then of course the system refused to allow my car to exit the car park.
I then had to pull over to one side to allow other customers to exit whilst I called the Divvi Car park security desk who insisted that my card number was not on the system and that I should use my card when entering the car park. Need I say any more than both
1. Office Works Glebe are out of line with the absence of signage rmeinding customers card to be used as condition of enry other go and park out side with you want to push your cash agenda
2. Divvi Car park security need to have a CCTV on the gate and / or staff with some sort of idea as to how to kindly assist customers calling about exit difficulties.

"Country of origin" on everything
Every experience I've had with Officeworks over the years has been excellent but that isn't the main point of this review.
I find it really handy that every item has the Country of Manufacture stated which helps me make ethical choices. More companies should do this
I am going to go 'against the grain'…
I am going to go 'against the grain' here, and give these guys a big thumbs up. The main reason is they NEVER give me any hassles whenever I return anything. Also though, I find the staff courteous, the prices reasonable for most things, and the one time I asked them to 'price-match' something, they did it with minimal fuss. I am quite surprised that they have such a low rating here.
Shocking service and handling of issue
I recently purchased a Cygnett 60W charger with 2x lightning cables for $99 from Officeworks Bayswater North, Melbourne, Victoria. Upon realizing I had bought the wrong charger (I needed a USB-C to USB-C charger and cords), I returned to the store with the charger, cords, and my receipt. Unfortunately, I had already discarded the box, which was torn into pieces.
When I first visited the store, a staff member informed me that I needed the box for a return. Despite explaining that the box was in pieces, she assured me it would be fine and that they just needed the box. However, upon returning with the torn box, the manager refused to accept the return, even though I had the receipt and user manual, and the charger had not been used.
While I understand that this may be store policy, I should have been informed of the specific requirements before making the effort to return with the torn box. I intended to exchange the charger for the correct one of the same brand and price point. I even suggested using another box or sending it back to the manufacturer for repackaging, but these options were not considered.
Additionally, the manager's tone was quite rude and unprofessional, which added to my disappointment. I have never encountered such an issue before and feel that the staff's response was unreasonable. I would have been satisfied with store credit, but instead, I feel I have wasted $99 and a lot of time and petrol going back and forth.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it reflects poorly on the customer service experience at Officeworks. I believe more flexibility and understanding should be shown, especially during the Christmas period when packaging may not always be in pristine condition.
I am very disappointed in the handling of this issue.
Terrible process
Did a 2 hour click and collect order on Friday 29th Nov. The email confirmation said pick up Monday so I called to cancel as I needed items that day. I was informed I couldn't cancel until the items were received by the store! On Monday 2nd I again asked for cancellation - was told it would be. It's now 9th December and it's still not cancelled. Called the store, waited 20 minutes to speak to the manager as Mel said I had to speak to him. He never came to the phone so I asked her to ensure it's cancelled. I have no confidence it will be.
Officeworks Underwood is a fantastic…
Officeworks Underwood is a fantastic place to shop for all office and stationery needs. The staff are consistently friendly and approachable, creating a welcoming environment for customers. Their willingness to assist ensures that every visit is a smooth and pleasant experience.
The store itself is spotless, spacious, and well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find whatever you’re looking for. This thoughtful layout not only saves time but also adds to the overall positive shopping experience.
A standout feature of this location is the self-service section. It’s incredibly user-friendly and efficient, making tasks like printing, scanning, and copying a breeze. I use it regularly and find the prices very reasonable for the convenience it offers.
Overall, Office-works Underwood combines excellent service, a clean and organised space, and top-notch self-service options, making it a reliable and enjoyable destination for all office-related needs.
My order is 15 days late and they keep on breaking their promises
I placed an online order with Officeworks on 20th November 2024. It was a big order for me and I had previously bought things from the store near me. The delivery was promised for Monday 25th November and I went to the office to wait for them to arrive. I am npt moved into the office yet as we have no desks or chairs. It is now 5th December and I have 4 items out of 11. I have called them every day and I have been promised several times that it is coming today and so far none of those promises have been kept. I am a stage 4 cancer patient and I cannot keep waiting all day with nothing to sit on. The customer service is appalling and I will never buy anything from them ever again. If I could give less than 1 star I would do it. I expected a much better experience than this. They should be ashamed...
Tried to order some paper online
Tried to order some paper online, at checkout it said choose a delivery option I chose standard. Upon trying to goto payment it keeps saying "delivery option is out of our standard cutoff time please choose another delivery method". but there isn't any other option. Been happening for over a month now. website looks good, its just broken and I can't buy anything.
OK, I found the problem: When leaving a comment on the checkout page for delivery driver everything fails and can't proceed to payment. If no comment is left everything works fine. I don't know why they have this option if its broken.
rude staff
I went into office works, Hobart to get a printed copy of a flight itinerary. I am elderly and didn't know how to do it. I asked a female staff member to help, she just said e mail it to us and walked off. When she came back I asked her to help, she just said I told you what to do, I tried to explain I didn't know how, but she still wouldn't help, she very rudely said she'd get someone else. A young man came and very patiently helped me sort it out. The female employee would have to be the rudest person I have ever dealt with anywhere. I pity anyone who has to deal with her. It was 7.30 am so they weren't busy at all. Not everyone is computer savvy, I thought that's what staff are there for, in her case, obviously not.
Office works orange grove has amazing…
Office works orange grove has amazing customer service and was able to help in getting my A1 picture done on the spot...I run a funeral business but live at Cecil hills..Wetherill Park office works is the worst customer service.Glad I found somewhere to go..

Unkind behaviour of staff member
I’m an active continuous customer of Officeworks, but my recent experience made me really frustrated and disappointed.
I was driven 20-30km to reach Officeworks for get a single page print for urgent matter, and I stepped Officeworks at 6pm on Sunday. I humbly requested to enter but the Officeworks staff member harshly rejected. As a human I felt that the staff member I met, was really unkind and selfish. I stepped to Officeworks at exactly 6pm not 6.01pm. I believe the organisations and the employees must have kind heart than anything else. Further , the organisation could recruit employees based on customers. Unhappy and unsatisfied customers leads the business/ organisation unpopular among the community that will cause to decrease the reputation and customers.
I hope my feedback may helps to Officeworks to improve customer service for others in the future.
Was shopping at Mona Vale Officeworks…
Was shopping at Mona Vale Officeworks printing department a girl with purple hair , sonia her name i think wouldnt print documents for me , told me i had to use self serve printers, i had no help working the printers as im not familar with printers or computers and just needed her to print documents for me, totally useless service, they need to focus more on customer service better.
Security review is awful
Their security policy procedures and "third party" that reviews your purchase is a nightmare and doesn't protect buyers, but instead infuriates them.
I made a purchase for a new laptop, with warranty, and a laptop case. I had put this off for ages and was incredibly anxious about making a big step like that with my money, but I did it.
I get told my order has been cancelled the next day. Thank god for a refund too though - But I tried to dispute it as i wanted my order still, was ready to offer any evidence I could that it was a legitimate purchase. I went through hell to get some sort of response from them, and the customer service lady I eventually spoke to was incredibly lovely and did what she could, but these security reviewers are insane.
There is no way to verify yourself to them and they will NOT ask for verification no matter what. They just make up their minds on if they want to screw you over - which is honestly messing the company around because I've seen this issue everywhere now that I look into it. I COULDNT order what I wanted in store because NO WHERE HAD IT. Thats WHY people order online half the time. I tried to contact my closest officeworks (1 hour and 30 minutes away) to then see if I can order through them to get my item delivered and you can't get through to anyone at all.
Don't take my money I guess ? I'll give it to another retailer. I'm just very disappointed because I've loved shopping at officeworks for years and finally got the confidence after much research for a laptop needed for my work.
If anyone else has experienced this your not alone, there are so many cases out there and unfortunately there is nothing to be done.
Sick of them not having any of the…
Sick of them not having any of the stock I need plus I get more help from their online store than the staff. Just rediculous for a “big box retailer”. Get your s#!t together! Mt Gravatt is the worst. Staff are so unhelpful and rude but that’s my experience in all of office works stores

Bought from Officeworks a journal that had a cardboard sleeve across it with (in bold caps) A5 LEATHER JOURNAL. The receipt said 'OTTO A5 LTHR JNL'. So you'd think it was leather, right? Nope. Got suspicious and went to their website. It is only 'leather style' polyurethane. That isn't what the product said!
Disgusting Customer Service
DO NOT buy from Burleigh OW! Purchased the latest Google Pixel phone, it was a dud, overheated immediately, clearly unsafe.
OW Burleigh refused to refund or replace without sending it away for an assessment for an issue that was obvious to them, involving 2 weeks without a (business) phone! Caution, Australian consumer rights are over written by the OW policy, not sure how they get
away with this one!?
Visited the Woolloongabba store where a far more knowledgeable and supportive manager solved the issue immediately. Avoid Burleigh Heads OW!
Money never refunded
I was encouraged by staff to use tge self printing as it was "Cheaper". $10 was taken from my account and never returned. I was told it would refund asap... 24 hours max. It wasnt Absolute criminals. I cant prove it despite seeing my account reduce by $10. Gotta love those "dissapearing transactions that (conveniently) fall off your acccount"... NEVER AGAIN!
