I am generally happy with this company
I am generally happy with this company. I have been buying oils from them for over 10 years. Though some I find not of a highest quality.
Recently I bought German Chamomile. In the past it always was dark blue as it should be, this time it was amber colour which means that the product is of inferior quality and doesn't contain much of the important anti inflammatory substance which gives its blue colour. It was unusually cheap but there was no information that it is not of a usual standard. As in the past it was good, I assume it is the same oil. Also I bought diluted Violet Leaf oil. I used to have violet leaf oil from another reputable brand and it smelled divine. So I bought one from Oils4life a diluted version as I do with rose and Jasmine (which are ok). This one does not smell at all like a violet leaf. In fact the smell is quite unpleasant.

Our aim is to provide high quality oils at great prices - we always strive to keep prices low, which is often why it can appear we are 'cheap'!
Regarding the German Chamomile oil, we apologize for the discrepancy in color that you experienced. We understand that the dark blue color is indicative of an increased % of a particular component which improves its benefits for certain ailments, therefore, if required for this purpose then the oil may be less effective. Be assured that there is nothing inferior about the quality of the oil - it remains in specification - just a different composition. That said, like you, in our 20+ years in the business, we have been more familiar to the blue colour of german chamomile and we will certainly investigate to see why the change has occurred, with a view to getting back to the more traditional colour/spec. if we can reintroduce this and we apologize for any confusion caused by the amber color of the product you received.
Furthermore, we apologize for the disappointment you experienced with the diluted version of Violet Leaf oil. We understand that the aroma did not meet your expectations. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, as we strive to provide products that assure customer satisfaction.
