I dealt with Omar when renting a property. From the beginning he was nothing but professional. He sourced me a flat to rent and was lovely about it. When I accidentally sent my first month of rent to Oliver Jacob’s they were prompt and sent it back almost immediately. I cannot recommend them enough! I hope to work with them again!

Omar and his associates did an excellent job & I would certainly engage them again.
Valuation, found a tenant, attended to some maintenance issues, provided the necessary documentation and rapid communication throughout.

Absolutely outstanding service from Oliver Jacobs. From start to finish, their team was professional, responsive, and efficient. A special mention goes to Omar, the manager, whose dedication and quick action made all the difference. Within just 48 hours, the Hob Gaz was replaced, no delays, no excuses, just results. It’s rare to find an agency that actually delivers on its promises, but Oliver Jacobs sets the standard. Highly recommended.

I have never heard of this estate agents until this week and they are very unprofessional. I enquired about 2 properties for renting and they do not even bother taking calls or responding - why on earth would a landlord put their property up with this estate agents when they dont even call potential tenants back ? The one time i got through to a worker, he was on a train. Something fishy is going on here.

Our experience with this agency was extremely disappointing and frustrating. After we moved out of the property, they had not refunded our deposit. Upon further investigation, we discovered that our deposit was never registered with TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme). When we approached the agency about this issue, they shifted the blame onto the landlord, stating that it was their responsibility to register our deposit. However, landlord assured that they would return our deposit, but unfortunately, this never happened. We were left feeling cheated and taken advantage of. We would strongly suggest anyone thinking of using this agency think twice and choose a different one to avoid being in a similar situation.

Omar and his team were well organised and what is most important - fair, from beginning until the end, from moving in to moving out. Best agent experience I’ve had as a tennant in London.

I have successfully worked with one of Oliver Jacobs Managing Agent - Omar for over 14 years and have never had any cause for concerns getting them to help search for new tenants, check and check ou process, even helping to deal with difficult tenant and finally, after care services like major repairs (faulty Ovens, Boilers etc).

I will recommend them anytime!

I don’t normally leave bad reviews as I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but this has been the poorest and most shocking experience i’ve ever had with an estate agent… and that’s saying A LOT in London.

I won’t name names but the experience I had with this agent was unprofessional and has cost us a a lot of time spent and a property that we really liked due to poor management.

It started off by the agent cancelling each viewing we had on the morning of the viewing two weekends in a row, and then changing viewing times multiple times in the day after we had once again rearranged.

Then we received false information on the offer that the landlord would accept and caught the agent lying multiple times. For instance he said that the property was vacant for 3 months and didn’t get much viewings, then after the viewing he claimed that he has multiple offers so we must be quick to pay a deposit and sign a contract. Makes no sense?

I was transparent about our moving timeframes, which was a very standard one month notice period. The agent decided to tell the landlord that we’d move in two weeks time and said that if we needed a month he’d be able to convince him as he is ‘very convincing’…

Once I spoke to my landlord and confirmed moving times (which was one month as I stated), the agent tried to trick me into paying a deposit and signing a contract starting in two weeks that would have locked me in for paying the whole month’s rent even after I had informed him of the moving date. It was a really sleazy move and someone else who is more trusting would have fallen for it.

After clarifying I could not pay anything before the moving date is agreed, he came back to me to say that the landlord was disappointed in me shifting the move in date and wanted someone who would move in two weeks.

I’m not sure if this individual has ever worked in this industry before, but a one month notice period is standard. A true professional would have known to advise the landlord that it is unlikely he’d now find someone else to move in two weeks, which would leave him with someone moving even later than our expected date… additionally, his lack of transparency with the landlord likely left him believing that we were unreliable tenants which was not the case at all- I was very honest from day one.

The advice was poor, the management was chaotic and I was almost tricked into a deposit and contract that would have cost me thousands.

All in all, this process left me with a lot of wasted time and frankly has really upset me as I did quite like the place and put in a lot of work to make it happen… only for it fall through due to an unprofessional agent that doesn’t know how to manage relationships.

I hope this person gets the training he needs to be better at his job and others don’t have the same experience.

Overall had a very nice experience, especially Omar was supportive throughout the length of the tenancy and went above and beyond with the right advice and help at all times. Highly recommend

Kashif is really responsive whenever I have a query. I only have to deal with him so it makes things easy for me. He is knowledgeable, proactive and keeps me informed. Minor issues are always handled independently whilst everything else is always raised with me on a timely basis. I have been with Oliver Jacobs for years.

I as many who are looking to rent understand the daunting task at hand however from all of my searches I came across Oliver Jacob’s Estate Agents. I was swiftly assisted by a chap by the name of Omar who helped with finding, shortlisting and recommending properties that suited my needs and budget.

From start to handing over keys, the experience has been fluid, communication swift and concise. Truly appreciate Omar for taking care of me.
