Sorry to hear others have had a less than perfect experience with this company, because I just ordered from them, they shipped exactly what was shown within 24 hours at a reasonable cost. Parts prices were good. Packaging was excellent. As finding parts for vintage Mercury outboards is getting tougher, I am so thankful for oldmercs.com for being there and taking the time to put together an excellent web site that allowed me to obtain the parts to keep my old engines going a while longer!

Ordered parts on a Monday after paying for 2 day priority shipping, received an email saying it had shipped, didn’t receive on Friday so I called and they said it hasn’t even shipped yet because they didn’t have one part I ordered but when it comes in they will ship it with 2 day shipping. The only reason I paid for 2 day shipping was because I needed the parts quick, so now it’s gonna well over a week after I ordered that I will (hopefully) receive them, but still have to pay for 2 day shipping due to their mistake, find someone else to order from.

Edit:Canceled the order and ordered from boats.net. Give them your business people.

Hello, anybody home? I sent an email 4 days ago to oldmercs through their "contact us" address with a simple request about help with a ignition switch. Nothing. Over the last 4 days I have been successful in finding what I needed elsewhere. Perhaps if I had a $$$ they would have cared enough to respond.
They don't care, don't waste your time.

Bought an electronic parts manual for download, but because they don't have an automatic system to check if you paid then I had to wait from saturday to tuesday before I got the download link.
