Having used the Olfi one.five for both personal and professional purposes I am extremely happy with both the quality of the equipment and the footage it produces. Currently this is a hidden gem in the action camera market as they are a fantastic price.

Professionally we have used them to make ski videos and the cameras have been used for 2 full seasons and about to start a 3rd and they are still in great condition.

I'd happily recommend Olfi as you are getting great quality for an affordable price.

Had my Olfi about 2 years now. At first the menu was a bit daunting but as you learn you discover some amazing assets. It has everything for any situation or environment. From bright sunshine to almost completely dark situations you can just keep going. As for the quality of video and stills, its hard to beat. Even close up video of objects to infinity keep their focus. How this is possible I don't know. Screenshots from the video footage deliver excellent top quality images. This little black box really packs a punch amongst all action cams. The back up service - excellent! From South Africa.

Great camera. Software is not perfect, but it is good. Great quality, and I like the feature that enables you to stream video to your mobile phone.

Great camera, excellent customer service. I have 2 cameras which I use for sailing (spinnaker pole mount & hand held), climbing, cycling. Image quality is always good although I don't bother with 4k. The image stabilisation on the 1.5 makes a big difference although it can shorten battery time.

I haven't had my Olfi long in truth, so can't give as thorough a review as I would prefer. That said, early indications are that it's a pretty neat piece of kit for the price and the video quality quite decent! I generally shoot in HD (1080) @60fps mode, which works pretty well for those rides through a reasonably lit forest. The only thing I'd question (hence 4, not 5 stars), is the image stabilization - although, most cameras don't seem to have this nailed at speed either. To compensate for this, I will be trying different set-ups (tripod on the floor, in trees, chest harness, handlebar fitting etc.,) - so I'm sure the 4 will become 5. Another thing to mention about this camera is the rear LCD display - what a real boon! Makes configuring your Olfi almost childs-play.

I brought my olfi a few years ago from a stall at a horse show after my go pro hero HD broke. Id upgraded to a new go pro however after it breaking after just a few days i decided to buy one of these after the salesman told me about it. It is a really good camera. Has a good quailty camera and shows a very wide angle, the mic picks up quite well too. It has lots of accessories you can use with it and also has an app you can use. It looks very sleek and the waterproof housing works as expected. The waterproof picture is perfect and never incured a problem with it. It comes with a good starter set up in my opinion too. Also i once had a question when i first got my olfi one.five and emailed them and they promptly responded and answered my question very politely and resolved my issue. They also have a lot of settings within the camera so you can use it diversly, eg.car mode, drone, slow mo, underwater and camera. Also the app allows you to connect to the olfi and see what is on the screen on your phone and also allows you to download whats on your olfi cam.

Bad points for me was that when riding my horse galloping, as my body moves and my headcam moves it captures the light sometimes making it light then dark repeatedly so you cant actually see the picture all that well. The app can sometimes be a little crash-y. An improvement id like to see on the camera is maybe a beep to know when you are recording as when its one my helmet i cant take it off to check if the red recording light is flashing.

Overall though i am glad i invested in one of these over a go pro as it does exactly what i expected it to do and more. It regularly comes out with me and has exceeded my expectations.
