"AVOID AT ALL COSTS — ABSOLUTE CROOKS. These people were supposed to handle claims on my behalf for my vehicles and did absolutely nothing. Not a single claim made, not a penny recovered, zero communication, zero effort, zero results. Then, out of nowhere, they have the audacity to send me an invoice demanding money for work they never carried out. I am absolutely disgusted. Do not trust this company with your vehicle claims — they will do nothing for you and then try to charge you for the privilege. Stay well away."
I want to warn others about my experience with Olton Alexander Limited.
I was contacted regarding a car finance claim, which I believed was being handled by another legitimate firm. At no point did I knowingly sign up with Olton Alexander or have any direct communication with them initially.
Later, I received information from my finance company stating that two different companies were attempting to represent me — one authorised, and Olton Alexander, which I had never knowingly appointed.
When I contacted Olton Alexander, they claimed I had signed up online, which I strongly dispute. I have no recollection of doing so and would not have agreed to use multiple firms.
I then felt pressured into paying a £84 fee to cancel, as I was told they had already started work on my case. This left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned, as I do not believe I gave clear or informed consent for them to act on my behalf.
This whole situation has been confusing and stressful, especially with multiple companies involved and conflicting information.
I would strongly advise others to:
Be very cautious about who you give your details to
Double-check who is actually representing you
Request full proof of any agreement before making any payments
Based on my experience, I believe there needs to be more transparency in how clients are signed up and how their details are obtained.
They constantly send ,emails two at a time ,that say the same thing over and over again,no progress ,no explanation of ,what percentage they take ,constantly saying don't accept direct offers as they are low ,with there fee any offer will be better than, what you will get of these ,very bad and annoying!!
This company are trying to blag me to pay 84.00 for an email stating I have arranged misold car finance claim.
I’ve no idea who they are or what to do about it.
So far I’ve emailed complaining stating I’ll go to finance ombudsman.
I received an email from my car finance company saying that 2 companies were trying to claim to represent me on a car finance claim. While one was legit and were representing me, this company Olton Alexander was not, and have falsely try to say they are. I have never had any correspondence with said company and will pursue legal action if my name is ever in their mouths again.
DO NOT TRUST OR USE THIS COMPANY
Tried cancelling on 3 occassions they dont get back to you dont go near them they keep searching even after widthdrawing in cooling off period
Where do we go from they have my signitures and i havent signed anything
Be careful with companies that contact you offering to reclaim car finance commission. I ended up feeling tricked by Olton Alexander. They charged me even though nothing was actually done.
I contacted Black Horse directly and was told that my case had already been logged with a different company. Despite this, Olton Alexander continued to email me asking for payment for a service that has produced no results.
In reality, there is no guarantee you will receive any money back, yet they still request payment. My advice is to contact your finance company directly before agreeing to work with any claims company.
Scammers, using e signatures from another company and when you realise it's a different company they charge £78 to cancel it. Disgusting scammers!
Anyone who has used this company either knowingly or unknowingly (via a third party) should be aware that they take your e signature from an initial document then add it to additional documents (claims) without your knowledge or consent. This is in regard to mis-sold car finance. I have just been sent several documents with my e-signature on, none of which I have ever seen before.
