Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the product, describing items as useless, cheap-looking, and not as advertised. Customers frequently reported issues with the quality of the products, noting poor craftsmanship, damaged items upon arrival, and coatings wearing off quickly. The return policy was a major source of frustration, with many struggling to return items, especially due to the requirement of shipping them back to China at their own expense. This often made the return cost more than the item itself. Additionally, consumers felt the prices were too high for the quality received, and obtaining a refund was a difficult and drawn-out process.

Junk don't buy it

Junk. Don't buy it. Says it is made in US. NO IT IS NOT. China. If you want to return it you MUST send it to China not Illinois where they claim it was from. The return process is a joke, you are basically out of luck either way

Inferior product

I ordered the rose gold coloured Olux ring which when it arrived was a cheap copper coloured band with some slightly faded areas on it. Stay away from this product. It is nothing like what is advertised.

Do not bother

Scam - only returns to China - poor customer service - bad experience - not worth money

Box arrived open so unsure if it was replica or pre-owned therefore reached out for replace/return. Was delayed by dept asking for photos of inside box which was irrelevant given I had initiated the exchange with photos of the box which was the concern. Further delays in receiving response. Then to be told, can only return to China within 30 days (despite delays on their part) & that the address on my box was not correct as this is only the warehouse the item is received to in UK and sent on to me from there. Return to China must be tracked, costing £18 from UK and you need a customs letter which is not provided.

I would say this is a scam. Not described properly online.

Very disappointing.

Crap product and terrible customer service

Crap product and worse customer service. I attempted to cancel it before shipped without success. Customer service told me I could return it once arrived. It shipped from Indiana but then the expectation is that I send it back to China. Don't waste your money.

The Jury is Out!!!!!

My ring arrived today, I had ordered it in rose gold, hence I am unable to leave a review on the ring. By the negative reviews I wonder if I have been taken for a ride!
The one star is for the stainless steel polishing cloth, I would have left no stars if possible. I paid £8.99 for the item. The picture on thee website makes it look as though it is a fair size. The information provided, weight 6g, depth 1.2mm, there are no actual measurement details for the size of the cloth which are 8cm square or just over 3 inches square. I do not think the cloth is worth £8.99, hence I advise NOT to buy the cloth.

Negative stars

Negative stars. They sell this junk for $6 on Amazon. I made a mistake and bought it from their website and then emailed them to cancel my order a few seconds later. They ignore my request and ship it saying I could return it. Well you have to return it to China and customer pays shipping. There's no other option for a refund. Scam company!!

Waste of money

The ring is big, bulky and doesn't bend to fit your finger, so I'm stuck with something that I can't use. The product has to be shipped to China, received by the distributor in 30 days, and it costs as much to ship it as the ring itself. I'm certain this is for a reason. The address that I was given to ship the product to was not accurate, according to both FedEx and UPS websites.

The ring feels really cheap & no easy way to return

The ring feels really cheap. The rose gold looks to be copper. Want to return? Okay, you can but you have to ship to their warehouse in China. Just about as expensive as the ring. They definitely have that system set up for a reason.

Pay to Return

Placed an order and sent an email asking to cancel 8 minutes later, including the order number and all necessary details. Got an email back a day later that they had tried their best to cancel but weren't able to stop the order in time and that I could return the ring once it arrived. When the ring arrived I emailed that I wanted to return it and asked for return details. They advised that I would have to pay for return shipping to CHINA even though the return address on the package was California, and that once they have received the ring they would inspect it and decide whether or not to give a refund. I looked up shipping costs for a couple different shipping companies and it was going to cost at least the price of the ring to ship it back, and then I may or may not get refunded just to break even so I decided to keep the ring. I finally opened the package, I hadn't until this point because I didn't want them to claim that there were any damages caused by me, and it doesn't even look as advertised. I ordered rose gold, my ring is copper, and the ring on the website has a rounded edge, mine is flat. It's uncomfortable and ugly.

Fraudulent company ! DO NOT buy from them

Placed my order for a gold ring $44. After 1 week I still had not received any shipping notifications. I emailed inquiring . I received a response that it had not been processed yet due to lunar New Year . I was asked if I wanted to cancel . I said no .. then I got nervous and started reading customer expieriences and reviews . 1 hr later I responded that I did indeed want to cancel . Somehow the order magically started getting processed and was unable to be cancelled . I asked if it went to shipping yet and was told no, it has gone to fulfillment dept
And was unable to be cancelled . I asked why it could not be cancelled since it had not reached shipping . 2 days later a response said once in fulfillment orders cannot be cancelled. I waited a week for any notification . I emailed asking if it had shipped yet , no answer . I emailed again and was given a generic flow of processing not identifying any shipping information . 1 more week later I asked which shipping service is being used , I was given a USPS shipping tracking .. once it reached the US it took an additional 2 weeks to arrive . Before it came I let the company know I would be returning the ring once recieved , I advised I expected return postage to be paid . No response . Once ring arrived I emailed and said I would be returning . I was given an address in China and told I would have to pay the return postage since it shipped from their warehouse in China and they don't provide return shipping on returns .
I have not returned it yet but looked up how much USPS / UPS / and FEDEX charge for shipping to China ... it is going to cost possibly $200-$300 to return a $44 ring . Once arrived it was thin and a weird gold color . The ring is advertised as steel but appears to be plastic . Hard lesson learned . These rings are now advertised on Amazon for $10 . UPDATE: 02/28/2025 I went to UPS to get a quote for
Returning the ring to the address OLUX gave me . .. $189.00 . !!!! I have started a dispute with my bank . I have given them the entire 4 week email thread of me trying to deal with this fraudulent company . Will update as this unfolds
....UPDATE 3-1-2025: called my bank to dispute the charge . Opened a case and sent the fraud dept all of my emails back and forth with this fake company . The bank and Visa reversed my charge and refunded me and Is contacting OLUX to let them know the charge is being reversed . Wells Fargo said they will let me know how or if OLUX responds .
UPDATE: 3-10-2025
My Bank along with Visa confronted Olux and force reversed the charge back to them
. When I opened a fraud case with Wells Fargo Bank , in good faith they refunded back to my credit card the amount that Olux charged and advised that if Visa could not recover the funds it was a temporary reversible refund to me
.they contacted me and said they challenged Olux and recovered the funds. My refund is permanent ... DO not give up . Contact your bank and create a fraud claim against Olux ...now I see a company named Calmi selling the same product . No doubt renamed to continue scamming people . I am sure they are counting on people giving up . Don't give up !!!

Doesn’t look like the product online

Doesn’t look like the product online, thinner and the onyx is certainly not onyx more like dirty silver. Not sure if magnets are real or not but going to try testing them with something magnetic!! Feeling duped but was a spontaneous purchase and should have read on here first! Good reviews are obviously not genuine! Who do we report that to! 🤔

This is a cheap piece of plastic

This is a cheap piece of plastic - don't waste your money! It cannot be sized for small fingers and turns the skin green.
If you buy it from Olux directly its impossible to return for a refund because the buyer has to pay to shop it back to China.
Plus, its available for 1/4 the price (or less) on Amazon. A complete scam!

SCAM!

This is partially my fault as I shouldn't have fallen for this scam.

I placed the order as an impulse buy but within doing research just after I placed the order, I emailed immediately to cancel.

They told me days later they couldn't cancel, which I saw happened to a few others who have reviewed.
To return you have to ship to China and pay for your own shipping, that's it they accept the return that is.

The ring itself is very cheaply made considering the price and not at all a rose gold colour, more a copper. The ring feels like thin cheap metal. The magnets don't even look like magnets, more like small stickers covered in resin.

Please do not buy! Do your research.

Olux reviews are inaccurate and do not…

Olux reviews are inaccurate and do not let you leave reviews on their advertising sites .
The ring is small and tight impossible to adjust without digging into skin .
Their appears to no magnets of any strength .I've tried to wear it on my little finger with no effect .
Other than feelings of frustration that I've been conned
