My experience with the FundHerShip…
My experience with the FundHerShip process has felt refreshingly human and founder-centred. From the outset, it was clear that the intention behind the programme is not only to distribute funding, but to build a genuine ecosystem of support around women founders.
The conversation with Nanna in particular stood out. It was an unusually open and honest exchange that created space to speak candidly about both the opportunities and challenges of building a founder-led organisation. As someone currently stabilising and growing a community-driven venture, it was meaningful to speak with someone who understands the realities of that journey.
Being invited into the wider community immediately after our conversation also reinforced that the programme is about more than financial support; it is about building connections, sharing knowledge and strengthening networks between founders.
Regardless of the outcome of this round, the process has felt thoughtful, respectful of founders’ time, and grounded in a genuine commitment to supporting women building impactful work.
