We are having the same experience as others: uncompleted work; significantly overcharged for the work and left unfinished with myriad excuses. We have been left with no staircase and the house in an unliveable state. As previous reviewer, we will also contact trading standards and will have to resort to legal action to try and recover some of the money. Avoid at all costs.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. He took over 40k from us for which works were never completed. The rest of the work he did is of poor quality. He ultimately agreed to pay back 22.5k but only paid back 10k. I am now pursuing legal action against him and his company to recover my losses. He lies to you and puts pressure on you to take your money and as soon as he receives the money, works stop.

Same issue as previous review but under his previous company one 9 construction. Trading standards are involved. Was making out more work was needed (at over inflated prices), had structural engineer confirm none of the work needed but destroyed the house to try and make me continue with him. I found him off trustatrader, dissolved the company while working on the house (not told) so no come back from trustatrader

Do not trust this builder. He has defrauded me. My husband and I are both vulnerable, my husband has a severe disability and Jason Yakub Khan has robbed us of everything we had allocated for our extension.
He was very nice at first then he started to take money by threatening that he won't come back or his workers aren't coming because they haven't been paid unless I paid him. Then gradually he slowed down with the work doing little or no work and demanding money. To the extent that he started coming back in the evening and being outside my house. He has my house keys and that left us more vulnerable. He often came into the house and walk straight into our bedroom without knocking and shouting at the top of his voice. He swore on his mother's grave and his children that he is going to finish the work. It then became apparent that his intention was to defraud. He has left my house in a terrible shape and unsafe. My husband's lift doesn't open as the floor level is uneven. So i cannot take him downstairs in an emergency or otherwise. We have no heating or hot water as he has taken the roof off the old extension leaving the boiler exposed to the weather. Please be careful of this name and his company. Also One 9 Scaffolding is owned by the same family members.
