SHAMBOLIC

SHAMBOLIC!

So I ordered a MTB mens helmet from them (Aug 2025) it arrived a week later and by 'Evri' who are the cheapest of all couriers and previously called 'Hermes' but had to change their name due to the tsunami of negative reviews, so I know from being online since 1998 that ANY reputable company uses decent couriers, so the alarm bells started to ring there, anyways. I opened it and was impressed with the hat's finish, I'd ordered an XL/XXL size and when I went to put it on I was shocked at just how small it was, the helmet was 'at best' a 'Medium' in fact my wife tried it and she is a small framed woman and it fitted her perfectly.

I couldnt even get the helmet past my ears without causing damage to it, the box states "Designed in America" then underneath it says "Made in China".

Ah ok so they outsourced all their manufacturing to China eh, I know from previous experiences that the sizes over in China are MUCH smaller than in England or Europe! but for Oneal to label the helmet as an XL/XXL is not only misleading, its offensive and they have wasted my money, my time and now lost a customer!.

I have emailed them in disgust because this helmet isnt just way out of sizing, its MASSIVLY out!

My advice is stay well away cause they clearly dont care about their customers and they also dont have a clue about how bad their sizings are on their products, i'm NOT expecting a reply to my email.

no help of any kind

I wrote to O'neal support on 22-02-24
About a faulty helmet, no answer, tried to call them was told to send them an email as they don't have time to help customers over the phone, not even an answer to whether they have received the mail even though I have ticked the number.
Tried over Facebook, reply send an email.
But send them an email at the same email eng. A helmet I would buy response time an hour, then tried to send an email to this email no reply.
Always used O'neal helmets it's over now
