I requested leaf clean up

I requested leaf clean up. I let OneNeighbor know before they scheduled anyone that the date would need to be agreed because the service provider would need access to the backyard. I reminded them when they scheduled w/o my consultation. I was told that was too bad. Nothing they can do. OK, well I can dispute any charge to my card.

The mower scalps the grass

Grass is scalped by the scythe. Regarding cleanup, he performed inadequately. Furthermore, upon terminating the service, I am promptly billed $30.00 for an unnecessary charge. They are free to retain the $30. Perhaps these negative evaluations will put them out of business eventually.

They did an ok job

They did an ok job, but when I was notified the day before the service I canceled because of the drought kept my lawn low, so it did not need mowing. They charged me the $15 cancelation fee, when they booked the day before? Crazy!

Absolutely horrible customer service

Absolutely horrible customer service. Their lawn crews will cancel and reschedule more than they’ll actually show up to cut your lawn. Then when you complain about it, you just get the runaround from their service staff

Steer clear

Used them for about 6 months. Never went a month with continuous service. Twice the provider didn't do the job. I made them aware. They did nothing. The second time I refused to pay and removed my credit card. Im not interested in paying for services not rendered. Now im getting emails threatening collections. I have plenty of documentation, so I am not concerned. But I would suggest others seek services elsewhere.

Hi Mary,

Thanks for letting us know about this. I looked back at the support ticket that you filed on April 18, and Julia on our team reached out to you asking for images of the yard showing that it wasn't mowed. We have photos from the provider showing that the yard was mowed and edged on April 18th. We don't show that you responded to that email, and we don't show that you filed any issues in the app showing that the yard was not completed.

As you mentioned, you removed your payment information from the app, so the provider has not been paid for that job yet. As I'm sure you would agree it's not fair for a provider to come out and do work and not get paid. Our service providers are customers on our platform as well, so when they aren't paid we advocate for them by sending collections emails.

We would love to resolve this for you, but we will need you to access the application and update your payment information so that your service provider receives payment for their work.

Thanks,
OneNeighbor Support
