Ben's work coaching involved knowing what questions to ask, and being thoroughly mindful of both practical considerations in addition to considering the emotional aspects of my own wellbeing. It was in direct contrast to many other organizations who ( I find ) lack critical thinking ability to deal with individuals as autonomous humans, yet who need to regain confidence in order to overcome fears in getting back to work. Ben from Worthing Council, was so helpful, to all my needs. I become homeless this year Ben was calling me everyday twice a day to check on me, i feel he wasn't doing it as a job but out of out of his heart and help me do my CV also helped me looking for a job and he was keeping my spirit up and making me laugh a lot, i consider him as friend rather than a work coach. I wanna say a big thank you to him.

When having a cynical mind, its hard to believe sometimes that people are genuinely there to help you. However Petra Edwards was and is! The assistance she provided was not only a listening ear but also inspired you when applying for roles or looking into training to get that role.
As my employment coach, I felt also that she was a great life coach but she took her time to understand the skills and experiences you have and then sent over or discussed suitable opportunities that you apply for.
I actually feel sad that I have obtained a job because her regular contact was welcomed and much looked forward to. Thank you so much Petra and One Stop, a service I highly recommend.
