What a great idea! Mossy and I began our bridleless journey just a few months ago, only taking the bridle off for the first time in August. These online competitions have been such a good way to get started initially with our bridle on and now progressing to having it off. The feedback and sense of community that is developing is inspirational and I encourage anyone who's curious to give it a go!
A horse centered approach and fast & friendly replies if there are any questions made it really fun to compete. Would definitely recommend to give it a try!
I’ve entered a number of their competitions now and they’re brilliant. The tests have been really well designed for Bridleless riders, with the different levels (and the option to have a bridle on if needed) giving great variety depending on where you are in the Bridleless journey.
Score sheets and results are sent over really efficiently, and the scoring and comments are really valuable. The score sheets are designed around Bridleless riding, with the comments being supportive, insightful, and refreshingly focussed on the partnership and wellbeing of the horse. Really do hope this continues to be a success and they’re doing a really great job.
Fun, welcoming tests for humans and or horses that are just beginning their bridles journey. Along with more challenging tests for those with more experience.
