Jersey wasn't delivered / €65 down the drain

TL;DR: I ordered a jersey which wasn't delivered / the owner refused to help find a solution / €65 down the drain.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but I felt very let down by the customer service from Onside Jerseys.

I ordered a jersey on August 22nd and was notified on August 25th that it had been dispatched. So far, so good.

Unfortunately, the weeks ticked by and it became clear the package had been lost in transit and wasn't going to turn up.

I reached out to Onside Jerseys to see if there was something that could be done to compensate for this and was told they "can't be responsible" for undelivered orders.

The tone of the correspondence seemed to suggest this was essentially my problem because I had selected standard postage.

I fully understand that it was not the company's fault that the package was lost in transit but at no point was it made clear during purchasing that customers accept responsibility for lost packages.

I felt very let down by the lack of commitment to customer service and the dismissive/defensive tone of the emails I received.

It seems others have had good experiences with this company but be warned that when things go wrong you'll be the one who is left out of pocket.

I have had very positive experiences with other second hand jersey sellers so will be giving them my business in future.
