The resources sent are great and the tutors are friendly and helpful. All of the TMA's I've sent in so far have been marked quickly with very useful feedback! The only criticism I have is that some of the links in the text books lead to Wikipedia pages even when they look like they link to oxford open learning pages. Overall a really good option for adult GCSE students!

I done 2 A levels with OOL and they were extremely helpful and useful throughout the process. The course material is well thought out and includes lots of activities. They have a very flexible structure, so you are able to go at your own pace, which is great if you struggled with school hours and deadlines, or need to fit around other responsibilities. The tutors and advisors helped me with any question I had and clearly explained anything I didn't understand without judgement. Both my tutors were very supportive and gave regular feedback that really helped me to improve. I was worried about organising exam bookings as a private candidate, but OOL made it very easy by explaining exactly what to do and answering all my queries. I would definitely recommend OOL, they are well worth the money.

Oxford Opening Learning have guided me through my A Level History course with care and professionalism.
My tutors marked my Assignments in a timely fashion with constructive and helpful criticism. I would definitely recommend them for distance learning.

I did Psychology A level with OOL and could not have had a better tutor in Faye. She was absolutely amazing from beginning to end and I thoroughly enjoyed the course.

I found the course very interesting and stimulating——and fun! I applied for the cours because l had joined a reading group and found that I didn’t know how to analyse and discuss the texts. At school I did science A levels and later did a degree in art and design. I had never had the experience of reading literature carefully and see other things about it other than stories!
On the OOLS course I made myself do some work every day. If I felt unwell or reluctant I made myself sit down with the course book and do something even for only ten minutes. After a while it got easier and I completed all the activities. For the activities Iwas able to use the texts. However at the age of eighty eight my memory isn’t as good as it was and when it came to doing the assignments... which are really exams, I couldn’t remember the quotes which I understand are really important.
Anyway thank you tutor Anne Thomas and the organisers of the course for a very positive and enjoyable experience

The content of the work was up to date. The tutor support was fantastic. She helped me achieve a very grade by explaining the subject in an easy to understand way.
Someone was always there to answer calls or emails.

The personal tutor feedback in all three of my subjects was invaluable and they were reasonably accessible if you had a problem. The material was thorough and fantastic and I would recommend the OOL to any adult or distance learner. I had always considered myself academically challenged but I ended up with 7 and 8s in all three subjects which then allowed me access to the ITTE course that I am currently on.

The course and the tutor were both good.

As a mature student returning to learning after a 40 year break, I truly valued the support I received from both my tutor and the admin staff at OOL. The coursework folder for A Level Law was excellent; clearly and logically explaining what I needed to learn. I would suggest the AQA text books for this course as well, they're invaluable. My tutor responded promptly with constructive advice and encouragement, and the exams team guided me through the minefield of the 2021 exam debacle. Jenny was so very helpful. If you truly love your subject and are prepared to work hard, OOL will support you all the way.

Straightforward, efficient and helpful. Always someone at the other end of the phone. Loads of resources. OOL has everything covered. Materials arrived on time and were concise and organised. Will definetly use OOL again.

I studied Biology and really recommend Oxford Open Learning. The resources provided were great and I had amazing support from my tutor. They were honestly so helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had on the course and feedback on assignments. The Exams team were also really helpful and great at providing guidance on booking exams. I had a great experience doing my A Level through them.

Very good coursework and a very good tutor who answered questions when they were required, cimmunicatiin throughout the pandemic could have been a lot better but i suppose you cant plan for that !

I did my Spanish GCSE with the Oxford Open Learning Trust. Communication was always fantastic - quick, easy, efficient. Wonderful tutor. No concerns.

I found the Maths GCSE Higher Level very comprehensive and enjoyable. I had the most excellent feedback and attention from my tutor and assignments were marked extremely promptly. An all round professional set up. I am now doing a second course with Oxford Open Learning as a result of the high standard of presentation, etc. on the first one.

I did a French A Level later in life with OOL. They did a fantastic job. The administration was efficient and the materials were very good. The key element was my tutor who was encouraging and very helpful. She was always positive and willing to make time for me and responded promptly to all my assignments. Overall an excellent experience that I am very happy to recommend.

My tutor was great and was only an email/phone call away if I needed anything.
