Drew things I couldn't get other tools to draw as political cartoons, yay.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

An unexpected automatic charge of $29.99 without prior notice or a reminder.
I tested the OpenGen platform, but was deeply disappointed to discover an unexpected charge of $29.99 on my debit card.
What upset me the most was the complete lack of transparency. Under the guise of a 5-day trial, they ask you to pay a small amount, while in faint gray text on the payment page, they state that you are actually signing up for a subscription. I received no prior notification, email warning, or reminder that the trial/subscription would soon convert to a monthly subscription.
Their billing practices seem designed to catch users off guard.
Only scammers operate this way.
If you decide to use this service, keep a close eye on your credit card statements or cancel the subscription immediately after the trial, as it will automatically renew without prior notice.

Unexpected €29.99 charge after a €1.75 trial – refund refused
I signed up for a 5-day trial on 9 October 2026 and paid €1.75. On 13 October, I was charged an additional €29.99 for a monthly subscription that I did not intend to continue.
I was not aware that the trial would automatically renew into a paid monthly subscription. I also did not manage to get the service I was looking for during the trial period.
I contacted customer support and requested a refund. I have not used any of the 2,000 monthly credits, yet my refund request was refused on the grounds that subscription payments are non-refundable. My subscription has since been cancelled.
I find it very disappointing that a customer can be charged almost €30 for a service they did not intend to continue using, receive no refund despite leaving all monthly credits unused, and be referred to a general refund policy.
I would advise anyone considering this service to carefully check the subscription and automatic renewal terms before entering their payment details.
