We chose the Antique Mirror splash back from Optidek through our kitchen designer and we are absolutely thrilled with it. Very impressed with the service from Optidek from start to finish. Fitters were very professional and friendly and the splash back looks amazing. Finishes the kitchen off beautifully.

Poor quality products and even poorer service.

I had mirrored splash backs installed in my kitchen by Optidek. I was standing waiting for some bread to toast and there was a loud noise- the mirror cracked- it couldn’t take the small amount of heat the toaster was putting out. I felt the glass it was warm but not hot. Obviously it couldn’t take the small amount of resulting expansion. The toaster was not close because I have stone upstands and the toaster curves inward. The crack ( around 6 inches long) then traveled in both directions.

Needless to say Optidek refused to cover me in any way, not even a discounted rate for a replacement, even though there had been no mention nor warning at any point that this was a possibility.

I am now using a glass company who ONLY USE TOUGHENED glass for kitchens ( where the likelihood of a nearby heat source is high if not guaranteed).

Optidek were very expensive, totally unhelpful, and in my opinion use substandard products.

Be warned.

Optidek recently installed an Aqua Splashback for one of our customers. They answered any questions from us quickly and efficiently, whilst always giving a high level of service. The feedback from the customer was outstanding. She loves her new glass splashback and also mentioned how great the templating and installation teams were. They were friendly, efficient, and completed the job quietly – which she really appreciated as she was on a work call during their visit.

Right from the start of the process Opticolour staff have been brilliant, my custom glass picture is perfect, the perfect size for the room, and delivered and fitted to perfection. All the staff I have engaged in have been helpful and polite, brilliant service, highly recommend.

They we're so helpful and responsive. Sped the process along for us in order to meet a clients requirements. The Splashback arrived and it's a great quality piece. They were very accommodating and had great attention to details with the colour and measurements. Overall very pleased and would recommend.

We have just completed replacing our kitchen. We have installed a modern kitchen in a very old building. That in its self was a scary option to choose. We used Opticolour Contemporary Glass Wall Coverings to supply the splash back. We contacted by phone and spoke to a young lady. The sales person took us through what could be achieved, there was no pressure to buy but encouragement to take time and think it through. We were recommended to search a well known company to find a design that suited us. Over whelmed by the amazing choice available. We were then put in touch with Red Dog Designs who also work with Opticolour. The result is amazing our kitchen looks fantastic. Opticolour put our chosen design into production. The guy that came to measure arrive on the day and at the time arranged, measured efficiently and accurately. The fitters also arrived at the arranged time worked with confidence and careful attention to detail.
The experience of working with Opticolour was genuinely a delight they showed that they cared about their product and had a pride in a job well done. Follow up was also a great experience, one feels that you are working with friends. The kitchen looks great! It was a pleasure to work with the company.

We have had lots of different splashbacks from Opticolour and they always look amazing. The quality of the glass is really good and there is a colour choice for everyone. We have just had fitted a bronze mirror splashback in a dark green kitchen and it looks beautiful and finishes the kitchen perfectly. Highly recommended.

I bought my kitchen 4 years ago from a company that has since gone under. They had subcontracted the glass splash backs to Opticolour. Their service at the time was excellent, but it’s their after sales service that has prompted me to write this review.
Greasy looking blobs and a crack in the paint at the back of the splash back started to appear - the first blob after 6 months but they appeared in earnest 4 years later. Opticolour were amazing. They said this was very unusual & that the paint hadn’t bonded properly & would get worse if left and said they’d replace the whole lot free of charge once they’d inspected it.
I now am the happy owner of a new splash back , refitted with great care and skill by Dez and team. Thank you so much to Sue in the office and the fitting guys. I can’t recommend you highly enough.
