Fast accurate descriptions and no non sensical questions during check out, payment simple and secure. Delivery fast using currier which is un-usual as the couriers tend to be SLOW and un-safe delivery agents. Nice product a little bulky but once you set the eyes correct then plain sailing.

Approximately two years ago, I purchased a pair of Opticron binoculars. They weren't cheap, nor ridiculously expensive. They were quality, good value and performed well. Overall, I was really pleased with my purchase.

I was at the Global Bird Fair 2026 and had my binoculars with me, during use, the focus wheel had become a little tight, not a huge deal, but it did distract slightly from ease of use. I happened across the Opticron stand at the fair and thought I'd see if there was anything that could be done.

The Opticron rep (I think his name was Pete) said it might be difficult to do something at the fair, but to leave them with hime for 20 mins and he'd have a look. Upon my return Pete said unfortunately they would need to be sent to the Opticron workshop for the Technicians to resolve the issue. I was then suprised when he offered to take the binoculars with him, get them to the workshop and back to me in ~10 days.

I was gobsmacked, he said he didn't need any paperwork as he knew where I had bought the product from and confirmed the warranty status through the serial number. He just took control of the situation and absolved me of doing *any* work whatsoever! Not only that, he was an absolute delight to deal with.

I went for a bit of advice and ended up having one of the best customer services experiences in my 70 years.

Thanks to Opticron (especially Pete). I judge companies and manufacturers by how they deal with problems - Opticron passed with flying colours!

Would I recommend them? Absolutely.

Would I buy from them again? Definately.

I was really impressed that I had ordered my binoculars and they arrived the next day, meaning I was able to put them straight to use for some birding walks I had over the next few days after.

It wasn't the replacement eye piece cap that I was expecting, not the one in the photo on the website and not the same as the original one, it fits just about but wasn't the stretchy rubber one like the original cap.

Purchased my second pair of Opticron binoculars for my partner so she can use them on our trip to South Africa. Service was good and communication was good. They arrived very quickly.

Optical devices that I always find interesting and affordable. Especially the long-eye relief models (for spectacle wearer) which are often little similar with ther other brands, but especially in that regard stand out. Very fast delivery and well packed too. (Within 6 1/2 days, including weekends, from England to Switzerland!).

Opticron products great, ordering from them direct great. The downside is the way they send things out, items of optical quality sent very loosely packed in padded envelope.
