contacting this company is impossible - with no contact details available and auto enquiry via website failing to work, after I finally located an email address and emailed its no surprise that I am still waiting for a response - but nothing to date!.
Terrible terrible terrible.

Rogue or typical

In early September last, I called in a professional electrician to replace all the tungsten bulbs in my lounge, dining room, entrance hall, landing, bathroom, toilet with LED bulbs of equivalent wattage. The bulbs he chose for the hall and landing were the bulbs that are the subject of this review.

The hall and landing lighting units each accommodate 3 bulbs. Through the period from early September, the hall and landing lights have been ON for up to 10 hours per day, say from 2pm to midnight. On the 14th November, one of the hall bulbs failed. On the 9th February, a second bulb in the hall failed. They both failed while they were ON.

The current order for 5 new bulbs was to replace the failed ones and carry a few spares against future failures.

If the 2 failures are simply rogue bulbs, then my spares should last a long time and I would make no further fuss. If however they are typical, then I can expect more failures soon and your life claim would be wildly optimistic.

The bulbs arrived quiite quickly and were very well packed. In which direction I will revise my 3star assessment will depend on the future failure rate.

I would welcome your comments on my experience so far. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Update March 21
The third bulb in the hall failed on March 16 and has been replaced. It's beginning to look like a rogue group, which may include the 3 bulbs on the landing, or it may be typical behaviour of Opus bulbs. We shall see.
Meanwhile, I am still waiting for comments from Opus.

Still have not received the link to return the product i brought. although i got a reply on here the issue is still ongoing. i have never received an email from the opus lighting technology team.

I have ordered from Opus before…

I have ordered from Opus before although the bulbs can be a little fragile, this time I ordered another 10 G9 LED BULBS. One email thanks me for my order and that they have been dispatched, the next email informs me when they went to pick them of the shelves they were broken and gave me a refund. I had to source another company. They emailed me to say they had been sent via Royal Mail who promptly sent them to the wrong depot and I haven't heard from them since. Is somebody trying to tell me something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
