The apartment and company Oqoro is very awful

The apartment is awful and different from pictures on their website. The company did not do any cleaning of the rooms. The toilet is bad,the mattress is old.The wardrobe is dirty. The bathroom and toilet smells a lot. Generally it needs professional cleaning service and I won't be paying for the next month if they don't come to clean. The apartment stinks and worse of all,they don't reply emails or calls. The apartment is in Saint Etienne and the company is awful.Avoid them.

Helpful and kind, very good job!!!

All the guys that have followed and helped me during the process of asking information and renting the room in an apartment in Strasbourg have been very kind, always and rapidly available and helpful. I would like to give special attention to Paul Feipeler, the guy that followed me most of the time: he has solved many of my problems very quickly and clearly. Very good job, thank you.

Worst experince on deposit amount

Worst experince on deposit amount. they take 2 months to give back your deposit amount. And they deduct almost 90% of it. even thought some damage are already been made when you enter the house,but when you leave they deduct everything from your deposit money. Please dont go with this agency. OQORO is a big scam.

I wish I could give less than one star. This is a terrible agency! C'est une agence terrible et frauduleuse!!
DO NOT use OQORO- they are scammers. It has been over 2 months and I have not received my deposit back.

Cela fait plus de 2 mois que je n'ai pas reçu ma caution.
This is theft. A month ago they sent a notification saying they have sent my deposit, but the money is nowhere to be seen. As a foreign student abroad in France, it is appalling that they are taking advantage of young people like this. Equally, we did not have wifi in our apartment for 6 out of the 8 months I stayed there ( the wifi was included in our rent agreement). They do not have a contact number so you cannot get in touch with anyone to make complaints and they will stop reply to your emails.

I lived in an appartment in Bordeaux…

I lived in an appartment in Bordeaux for about 8 months. When we left the appartment in April, it was not dirtier than how we found it and we didn‘t to any damage to it. For three months we have been waiting to receive (at least some!) money from the deposit, because they said we would get it withing 1-2 months. Now, 3 months later, they have asked us to pay them about 200€ for services they apparently had to pay for the appartment. This is unacceptable, instead of giving us back some money they are asking for even more. The service throughout our stay was not good, they took really long to reply to our emails when we had problems (e.g. our washing machine didn‘t work for about 5 weeks and the WC leaked water) or they didn‘t respond at all.
I hope that they will change their minds and pay us back our deposit, since we faced many inconveniences during our stay, we had to pay por laundry services because our washing machine didn‘t work, etc.

Horrible management, horrible customer service, horrible landlords

I moved into my apartment managed by OQORO in Toulouse on 08/09 on a late check in because the apartment had bedbugs issues, the day I arrived the whole apartment was messy, dirty with no possibility to be cleaned, I had to stay somewhere else for the weekend, one of my new roommates decided to clean it, because both OQORO and the landlord were not willing to send someone to clean that as soon as possible. Second check-in at that time felt ok, there were some issues with my shower, and some plugs in my room, the lady in charge of the check-in told me they would be fixed by the landlord if I showed proof to OQORO that they were there at the beginning of my staying, after several failed emails and 7 months they never got fixed, and the worst part of all is THEY CHARGED ME FOR IT and took the money from my deposit and have had nothing but issues with the flat.

OQORO just failed to reply to my emails quickly and when they did they just said the landlord is not willing to do it, so if you want to fix it, do it by yourself and with your money.

While doing the checkout the lady that was doing it (same as the checkin) was surprised that everything was looking better than the beginning, so it went well. Imagine my surprise when after two months OQORO sent me the details of the return of my deposit, charging me for things that were broken and in a bad condition when I arrived, additionally a surplus in services without any proof of this, it looks like they also charged me for cleaning even though that when I firstly arrived NOBODY CAME TO CLEAN. How is it even possible that I had to do a late checkin for reasons that were not mine and yet I still had to pay full rent, they did not want to acknowledge how much I spent on stay during those days when the apartment was a mess, and now they are charging me for every little thing.

I would not recommend this agency, use it as a last resort, and if you are going to Toulouse and are using OQORO do not rent from Anthony, landlord that multiple times came to the house, listened to our complaints and decided to do nothing, but him and OQORO would gladly take my money.

Edit: After 5 months of me asking OQORO for the bills of the utilities I STILL don't have them, they have ignored all my emails since I left the apartment... They don't even reply to this post...

Edit 2: They finally have replied to my email (Oct 2nd) they did not attach any invoices for utilities, they just sent me a table that they did (I don't know why it took them 5 months to send me this). Additionally to that they charged me for things that were 'broken' (there were 2 pans and they bought 4 and charged me for them lol) and my 3 other roommates also used. They also do not want to take responsibility for my late check-in after they indicated me to do it, due to the bedbugs. After their email I'm just speechless and encourage anyone reading this TO NOT RENT FOR THEM, THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Non-existent support

I moved into my apartment managed by OQORO on 22/04 and have had nothing but issues with the flat.

I have raised these issues via the OQORO Espace and after an initial response from them I have received no further updates despite it being nearly over a month ago and asking for one multiple times.

I have not been given a key for my mailbox so unable to access my mail. The shutter in the bedroom broke on the day I moved in, the bathroom is half finished and has no door fitted and the washing machine is defective and has started to damage the floor - as a result I'm having to use a local laundrette.

I am very disappointed with the lack of support given to me, although there was no issues in contacting me when asking for money...

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Do not do their job properly and took my whole deposit over damage that was already done when I arrived at the property. Couldn’t recommend less.

Awful customer service, they disappeared after they kept part of my deposit

I'll give them 1 star over the minimum only because they accepted Visale. Long story short: the apartment I rented form them was in quite of a dirty condition when I entered inside, which was well documented and signed by Oqoro staff and me. Particularly, there was a big yellow stain on the mattress, which was noted down. Now, when I had to leave the place, not only they needed 2 months, but they did not give me all of my deposit, 980 euros. I am a student, that's a lot to me. Well, they decided to arbitrary keep 280 euros, 100 for the yellow stain, WHICH WAS ALREADY THERE, and 180 because the house was not clean. This is utterly outrageous and ridiculous: when I entered, the dishwasher was smelling like rotten fish, it's filter was clogged by God only knows how long. The floor had stains and dirt on it, there was dust everywhere, there where a lot, and I mean a lot of limescale deposits in the bathroom, which I never managed to get rid of, since they were too damn thick. Also, when I arrived I did not know the apartment had a garage, they did not write it on the website and their agent did not mention it at all. At the checkout they inspected that too, and said it was filthy because some leaves and dirt were inside of it. Of course it was not super clean, I had flatmates, people were still living in that place and it was raining non stop for months, you cannot keep a garage clean in those conditions. Our door key hole was defective, they key sometimes did not work and I had to fight with the door for a good 5 minutes every morning to get out. They answer? Use some WD40... preposterous. My flatmate wrote them many times for various issues, she even called them countless times. Not even one single answer.
What boggles me the most is that everything was documented, the apartment state was well documented, wrote down and agreed by both parties. Yet, they refused to give me back all of my deposit and they disappeared, without providing me with a proper explanation. Name is Thomas Melis, I was in Bordeaux from September, 2023, to March, 2024. I hope you read this, Oqoro. I gave you the apartment in a better condition with respect to when I entered and always payed before due time. At least face me and explain to me why you are being this dishonest to me.

Be careful about this company !

Be careful about this company, they will show you pictures of a house that is all clean and well maintaned, the truth when you arrive is that not only it's full of damaged/broken things, but also very dirty.
When you contact them about these problems, they just don't reply, or they reply something like " we will look into it", then of course they just wait you give up.
