Bottom of the barrel experience
Their “instant confirmation” promise turned out to confirmation that I’d requested a booking & might have to wait a few days to see if it was actually available??? Next day they claimed my request wasn’t available so they had booked me a far less desirable alternative..
Checked elsewhere & found there was no shortage of availability for the car I’d originally requested. Also found the alternative deal that Orbit proposed was about 50% cheaper than the price they’d offered me.
To be fair, the one thing Orbit did right was refunding when I rejected their proposal.

Pricing and availability can also change dynamically across different platforms and suppliers depending on timing, inventory, and booking conditions.

Non existent car supplier
Confirmed our booking of a rental car in Dubrovnik airport, took the money of account but the car supplier is non existent! After hours of searching for the car supplier, ringing them with no answer had to just rent a car from one of the companies at the airport. Orbit car hire better be sending me a refund.
I have not arrived at 18:00!!!
I was there at 10:30am and this car supplier is no where to be found, phone OFF too so cant even call them. Not sure why is your reply to my review making me look like an odiot. I can read term and conditions properly. I have sent you proof of my arrival time at the airport and of attempts to reach the agency at 11am.

Please note that the rental agency does exist and was operating normally on the day of your booking. However, your reservation was scheduled for pick-up at 11:00 in the morning, while you arrived after 18:00.
According to the supplier’s policy, there is a grace period of 1 hour after the booked pick-up time. If the customer arrives more than 1 hour late without prior notice, the reservation is considered a no-show and is automatically no longer active.
Although the agency’s general closing time is 20:00, the office may close earlier when there are no remaining active reservations expected for that day. Since your reservation had already been classified as a no-show, the agency was not expecting any further arrivals related to this booking.
As outlined in the Terms and Conditions accepted at the time of booking, no refund is due in the event of a no-show.
