If I could leave a negative I would

If I could leave a negative I would!

Yesterday, at Highpoint I was stopped by a saleswoman waving a sample around. She wouldn’t take no for an answer and said she will be 10 seconds and only wants to show me how great their eye cream was and wasn’t going to ask me to buy. So I stupidly followed. She then popped the cream on while insulting my under eye area asking if have had fillers done. I told her I didn’t have filler and she kept saying yes you have I can see it. I kept repeating that I didn’t and that I don’t care for it. She said but you should care because this is your face and these creams are a treatment and will work to fix the under eye area. I said I don’t want to fix them because I don’t care. She wouldn’t shut up and would ask me so many questions about my life but wouldn’t pause to listen to my responses. She just kept speaking as though she was on coke. She then held a mirror up and continued to insult me by pointing to the eye that wasn’t smeared with cream (the cream didn’t do shit to my other eye but apparently her eyes and my eyes couldn’t agree). I then asked how much just to shut her up and she said $180 and I gasped. She said I’ll give it to you today for an exclusive price of $150 but I have to buy it today. I said absolutely not! She then offered After Pay and I said no and that I would never make such a financial decision on the spot without discussing it with my husband. This is when she looked at me with disgust and said, “Are you serious? For $150 you have to ask your husbands permission?” I was in shock! I walked away and felt like absolute shit. I felt insecure about my apparent horrible under eye area and, I felt like shit that she translated what I said about how my husband and I handle our finances to asking him for permission!

Do not under any circumstances make eye contact with these vile humans. I don’t care that they’re just doing a job. Go clean toilets if you need money, cleaners have more dignity and respect than this line of work.

I was sold $400 worth of EXPIRING products

I was sold $400 worth of products that EXPIRE in a few months! When I took my products back to the store (still all unopened and sealed with proof of purchase) to seek a refund or at very least new products, I was refused a refund and told that they don’t have any more of the products I purchased in store so I’ll have to wait weeks until they can exchange them - very poor customer service, not the same attitude I was shown when they were persuading me to buy the items

A High-Pressure Encounter: The Art of the Hard Sell at Origani

Today, I found myself lured into an Origani store on Swanston Street, enticed by enthusiastic compliments and an aggressive sales pitch that escalated with remarkable speed. From the moment I stepped inside, it was clear that this was no casual retail experience—it was a carefully orchestrated performance designed to create a sense of urgency and exclusivity.

The sales associate, exuding warmth and insistence in equal measure, assured me that, purely because she “liked me,” she had a special offer—one so rare that it could only be extended to a single fortunate customer within a fortnight. The proposition was layered: if I purchased two particular products (which, I was assured, even my husband would adore), I would receive an additional item valued at $160, along with a voucher for a facial treatment. The deal kept evolving, each new incentive designed to push me toward an immediate decision.

When I truthfully explained that, while the products seemed pleasant enough, I had recently endured the stress of having my car broken into and was still awaiting a new bank card, I expected some understanding. Instead, my explanation was met with a swift counter: “Don’t you have it on your phone?” I clarified that my card had been canceled. Undeterred, she proposed a direct bank transfer.

By this point, the experience had shifted from persuasive salesmanship to outright pressure. Having already been dealing with the considerable inconvenience and distress of theft, I now found myself cornered into making a purchase on the spot. There was no invitation to return once my situation was sorted—only an insistence that this exclusive opportunity was fleeting. As if to emphasize the finality of my refusal, the facial treatment voucher was placed conspicuously out of reach, as though I might impulsively grab and flee with it.

Beyond the relentless sales tactics, what struck me was the excessive reliance on pseudo-scientific claims about the products. Had the salesperson taken the time to gauge my knowledge, she might have reconsidered the approach. Instead, I was bombarded with dubious assertions, making the pitch all the more transparent.

Ultimately, what should have been a pleasant retail interaction became an exhausting exchange, underscoring the extremes to which some brands will go in pursuit of a sale. If nothing else, today’s experience was a masterclass in high-pressure marketing—and a firm reminder to trust my instincts in such encounters.

Helpful and friendly staff, great products

Bought quite a lot of their products, and it has helped a lot in skincare. Although expensive, I loved the moisturizers, eye creams, clay mask and the cuticle oil.

Also, the staff were very friendly, helped me a lot in choosing the right skincare products of theirs. I highly recommend using this brand.

CRAZY AND PUSHY SALESLADY AT HIGHPOINT SHOPPING CENTRE. BEWARE

If there is negative point, I would choose that.. 1 star is still too good for that crazy pushy sales lady at Highpoint shopping centre. I was being nice to her by let the product on my hand, then I said I don't need it. But, she put the product on my face without asking. She was so rude and crazy person, commented on my birthmark and how do I look. She said her product can fix these. FIX YOUR REDNESS ON YOUR FACE, before commenting on others face. Got a huge lesson, no need to be nice with these crazy sales person. Please save your time and your self respect.

Worst Sales People!

Horrible, pushy salespeople. Can't get a word in edgeways, pepper you with fake compliments and don't listen at all. Got accosted at Northland with a free sample and no matter how many times I said I was happy with my current regime he just wouldn't stop trying to upsell me his overpriced products and LED wand. Even tried to tell me my 11 year old with flawless skin needed a 200 dollar cream. Pretty much had to be very forceful and abrupt to cut him off at which point his overfriendly demeanour changed. Leeches just preying on vulnerable people with their aggressive sales pitch.

Very Pushy don't take no for a answer

Basically got lured in by a free sample, the staff member was very pushy tried to sell me several different products with crazy discount prices apparently. Some of the items they were just going to throw in for free when before they were trying to get me to pay 80 odd dollars for them. Very hard to get a word in edgewise they don't even listen to you,She kept asking if I had a girlfriend a mum or sister that would be interested in their products when I told them several times I had already brought all my Christmas presents. At the time I did not need to buy any more it just ended with me saying I'm going I might be back I had no intention to going back of course! wouldn't recommend it this was at the highpoint shopping centre branch.

Very busy and wouldn’t listen to my mother when she said she didn’t have the money. She said maybe another time and the man said, “how would you like to pay?” They were extremely pushy. The products aren’t worth the price, as you are able to find better, cheap alternatives literally anywhere. This was at greenhills

Predatory skincare scam

(Edit added location)([Location]Stockland greenhills, east maitland) Partner was on her meal break came out of dusk they were set up right outside of there. worker went up to her put a hand cream sachet in her hand grabbed her hand and pulled her over to the store

She hates conflict and has strong anxiety so got pressured into spending over $1000 which I had to go over and force them to refund us

Everything at this shop is incredibly overpriced $160 for a soap bar (not even a big one) is a joke and to top it off they promote that afterpay is available putting financially irresponsible people into major debt that can completely screw over their life

Incredibly scummy and predatory business model DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE .

Please if anyone has any similar stories about this place report it to center management so this store can be removed

Typical skincare scam

I'm from Australia. When I was shopping at gigamall in ho chi minh city, vietnam, they got hold of my sister. Very pushy, and bullshit all the way to try sell you products on the spot with ridiculous prices. No knowledge of skincare but information feed to them by the company. The supposed 'manager', middle eastern looking guy talked as if we are kids who didn't know what they was up to. Then rude when I tols them you cant push ppl and i just straight out refused to buy anything. I didn't tell them we live in Australia to watch them bullshit about their Australian products.

Guys, I have not seen this brand in Australia. And based on that interaction, they are just salesman and scammers. Don't be scammed :)

Dodgy selling practices and product

Dodgy selling practices - steer clear!
I was lured in by one of their sales staff waving a sample at me as I passed by and thought it wouldn't hurt to accept a quick demonstration in-store. The sales person was extremely pushy - fast-talking and mixing over-the-top compliments with criticism of my skin and how much I needed their product. I repeatedly said I wouldn't be buying anything today (because I wanted to see how my skin reacted to the product after a day) but they kept pushing and it was very very difficult to leave without me being rude.
The actual product seems like a scam too - they demonstrated a Manuka peel and said all the stuff gumming up on my skin was dead skin cells but I know that's not how peels work - if they took that much skin off they'd be too strong - it was just the product coagulating. The sales person made a big deal of how there were "no chemicals" and it was "all natural" while pointing at the 12M expiry guide and recycling symbol on the tub - as if I'd be too bamboozled to notice the BS. She kept trying so many different tactics like showing me very unconvincing "before and after" photos and just wouldn't take no for an answer. I feel bad for all the people who probably buy something just so they can leave.
If the product really worked they'd have loyal regular customers and wouldn't need to bully people into buying

Pushy. I was uncomfortable

I was walking in a shopping centre and happened to make eye contact with a member at the stand who motioned me to come. I felt rude to say no so I explained I am in a rush and not interested. He asked to have 20 seconds of my time which I said okay but this was an absolute lie. I ended up being stuck there for almost 10 minutes. I understand this is a job and they need sales, but I do not appreciate when sales members ignore obvious facial and body language cues. I was very uncomfortable and I explained that I am young and a student, and my parents generally pay for my skin care (as I was alone, this means I will not be buying things). I thought this was an obvious cue that I would not be purchasing but he continued to push with more discounts. I said I always research products before buying them - he ignored this too. What really upset me was that he made comments on my hyperpigmentation scarring I have from acne as a tactic to promote his product. This was so unwarranted - I was not wearing makeup that day as I had errands to run and It left me feeling really insecure. I explained I suffer from hormonal acne due to a condition.
He also tried to guilt me saying he is a student too etc, has no family here (thus he needs sales). I don't necessarily blame him, but I assume the higher management of this company must be so pushy and demanding about their workers reaching a certain target.

I ordered a pants suit only got the top. Couldn't even get the top over my head.
When I contacted the company they told me I could return it and they would refund it.
Now that was last year October I think.
Everytime I contacted them they give me another excuse.
I have given them proof of the return item.
Now I have lost the item, which I paid for, and no refund.
Which means they now have stolen me purchase.
I would like either a suit replacement or my money back.
It's terrible the way they treat their customers.
Will tell everyone about the treatment I've received from this company.

The one problem I feel about Origani is that they don’t have a set of price. When we feel like we don’t want to buy due to price issue, they try to give us discount from this to this, trying to tell us that this price has never done before only special for us blah blah… which I feel like the price is up to their set of mouth.

5 star Origani Product Review

I was stopped by the lovely Ash in the Northwest mall yesterday and she was absolutely lovely. Very informative with the Origani products and recommended suitable products for my skin type. She noticed I had eczema and noted that the ingredients in the Manuia honey peel and the cleanser are both eczema friendly. Ash provided examples on my hands and my face of how the Origani products work and what it’ll do for my skin.

I was amazed at how much dead skin I had on my face and hands when the Manuka honey peel was applied. After Ash washed it off and applied the cleanser and lotion my skin felt so soft, hydrated clean and smooth!

I was convinced and just had to buy the trio: Manuka honey peel, cleanser and lotion. All thanks to Ash, she was very insightful about the products and overall very friendly and supportive. Thank you so much Ash for being amazing, I finally have a proper skin
care routine thanks to you.

ORIGANI As A Skin Care Range & Specialist Who Assisted

I brought the whole skin care routine of the Origani Erda.

What a beautiful skin care range, ingredients & the way it feels on my skin 100% amazing leaving so elegant & luxurious.

Also smells divine, no chemical after smell, not like my old skin care range.

How didn’t I find this Company years ago, the main thing is I found it now!!

I happen to live in Robina not 5 minutes away from Robina Town Centre & I was walking past as I was running some errands & was greeted by this charming young man. His smile alone could’ve drawn you in.

This Origani employees name was Charlie.

Charlie thank you for your professionalism, honesty, kindness & the dedication to take the time to explain the knowledge behind the Origani Skin Care Range I don’t know how long Charlie has been with the Origani Company, I would assume quite a few year as I Charlie was so so knowledgeable outstanding Charlie 10/10 !!!

Charlie & the results in just that small time I’m lost for words, the demonstration from the right hand to the left hand spoke volumes to me & most important Charlie made me feel very comfortable. I even want back & brought more of the Origani Skin Care Range.

I recommend both female & male give it a real go you won’t be disappointed, I have also purchased the eye device with the red & blue light so excited.

I will definitely be back to give you all an update.

Again thank you Charlie, Origani would be honoured to have you as an ambassador for there company.

If there was a no star for a review

If there was a no star for a review, I would do that. Long story short, I purchased a product from Sylvia Park store after having some testers on my face. When I got home, I noticed I’d had a reaction on my face. Took the product, free gifts and voucher back to store the next day to be basically looked at like I was lying and I needed a med cert to prove it was a reaction. I contacted customer services on the email address provided and still have not heard anything in over 2 weeks! Phone number on website doesn’t work and no one answers when I call physical shop. I went back last night and even after citing Consumer Protection Act with product not fit for purpose, I was still asked to provide a photo of my reaction. This is absolutely unacceptable behaviour from the staff member. I used to work in hospo and no way would I ask someone to take a photo of their vomit if the food had made them sick for proof! I hope by posting here, someone actually replies and does something about this. The products are unopened, undamaged and I have proof of purchase. I wouldn’t expect this staff member to keep $1,300 of product that gives them a reaction so why should he not feel the same?
