Derrick brings over 15 years of experience in the collectables, antiques, and auction trade. He immerses himself in the history of each item, cherishing and breathing new life into objects destined to be discarded. Emma has been the backbone of our family, and together with Oscar, they have embraced the joy of collecting and preserving treasures. Inspired by our son's fascination with the newfound gems we uncover, we decided to establish Oscar's Treasure Island in March 2022, naming it after our beloved little "treasure." The name "Oscar's Treasure Island" symbolises both our son's contribution, as he calls our discoveries treasures, and our island location. It also pays homage to the classic novel "Treasure Island" by Robert Louis Stevenson, a book cherished by Derrick. Driven by our shared love for collecting Pokemon Trading Cards and building Lego as a family, we have seamlessly integrated these passions into our business venture. We strongly believe that pursuing what brings us joy is the key to a fulfilling journey. As a result, we have curated a selection of Pokemon Trading Cards and Lego sets that reflect our genuine enthusiasm and commitment to providing products we truly enjoy.
