Absolute rubbish out of 24, only 7 are still working. None have done even 100 hours. Scarily, they emit a vile-smelling smoke before they go out. Don't buy them. I've complained with no help from supplier
i bought a three pack of 7w =60 w code 806 Im from a Woodies outlet in Ireland. I replaced existing light bulbs with these Led bulbs. One of them exploded from its holder this morning onto a a timber floor.
I am now very concerned that other such bulbs will also explode in a similar fashion.
I purchased two Osram R7 78m linear LED bulbs for our lounge. They have a guaranteed life of 5 years, so I thought it would be great not having to get out the ladder to keep changing halogen bulbs, as well as being more energy efficient.
Well they are great for brightness and a nice warm white, but I have already had the bulbs fail 3 times - after 10 months, 10 months and 7 months. I expect the next one will go in a few weeks.
Fortunately the dealer (NovelEnergyLighting) is great and replaces them free of charge, but why are they not giving the life that Osram promises?
Osram should not sell bulbs which are so unreliable. I thought by going to a reputable maker, instead of someone cheap on the web, it would be trouble free. What a poor product
