I ordered a magazine subscription as a gift, almost two months after the payment, nothing has turned up, I still have no confirmation email (despite payment having been taken), and no magazines.

I subscribed to a BBC Countryfile UK magazine in October 2025 asking for this to be delivered the following month. No magazine ( a gift for a special birthday ) arrived . Money went from my account on 13/11/25. Several times I rang to be told the magazine was in the post. It never arrived. In December I asked for a refund. Today Jan 12 I see there is a refund in my bank account but what I wanted was the subscription to a years BBC Countryfile Magazine. I will be careful never to use this site ever again & warn others.

Simply Sewing Scam
*UPDATE* 1/6/26- Called my credit card company to dispute the charge (which I was told would be refunded by an email from customer service) and was told by the credit card company that they usually have a 60 DAY TIME FRAME FOR DISPUTES and that I was out of the time frame. Beware! Luckily, my CC company has the transaction notes from the emails I've forwarded and are moving to dispute the transaction and refund my stolen $99.95.
9/12/2025: I ordered a subscription to Simply Sewing magazine, as well as a few back issues, back in early September. I never received anything. When I first reached out to customer support, I was notified that shipping has been delayed but my magazines had been dispatched and were expected to arrive. I waited a month an a half and then requested a refund. I am still waiting for the refund. I believe this organization is a scam. It's unfortunate because there are few places to purchase Simply Sewing copies. Do not waste your time or money.
Missing Issue 72 of Love Embroidery…
Ordered Issue 72 of Love Embroidery Magazine in October 2025 (could not find it in any of the stores in my area - 73 is there, but 72 wasn't). Nearly December and it still has not been delivered. I rang the company and was told it would arrive beginning of November (customer service were pleasant, but can only tell customers what they are told to tell them!. Will contact them again, but would not recommend buying from this company or subscribing via them. Are they are Scam by any chance???
Extremely Poor Service – Stay away
I ordered different special edition magazines from OurMediaShop and have been extremely disappointed. I only received one magazine out of a total of 8. Despite multiple follow-ups via email the rest of the order never arrived. Customer service was slow to respond, unhelpful, and I have yet to receive a refund. It’s frustrating and unprofessional to pay for a service that isn’t honoured and I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Be cautious – their promises on the website do not match the reality. Although the company is listed as legitimate to me it is a scam.

If I could give no stars I would, ordered *simply crochet magazine a week ago* I’m still waiting for it, I have no emailed them twice, and I have had no reply, the magazine has cost me £10, when trying to add my order number to their Q&A page it’s says order number invalid, wish I’d have looked on here first.

I ordered the 2025 Tour de France guide several days before the event. I was fine with it arriving a little late, even after the race had started, but it never came. The company took my payment immediately, promising dispatch within 48 hours and delivery within 14 working days.
That was the last I heard from them.
No Product: The guide never arrived.
No Communication: I never received a shipping confirmation or any updates. My attempts to contact them through their website resulted in an automated promise of a reply within 48 hours, which never came. Phone calls were left on an indefinite hold.
No Accountability: After being met with complete silence, my only option was to initiate a chargeback with my credit card company to get my money back.
Frankly, quoting a "14 working day" delivery window for a domestic UK order in this day and age is a red flag on its own. But to fail to deliver the product at all and then completely ignore customer contact is unacceptable.
This wasn't just poor service; it was a complete failure to conduct basic business. Avoid this company.
SCAM - how do I give minus stars?
SCAM. Annoyingly you can’t give zero stars (or even minus stars). No delivery a month or so after order. Was told refund would reach me in 5-7 days. It did not.
I emailed again, a few days later was told I need to ring an 0333 number to give them my card details. Fishy indeed.
Annoyingly local M&S foodhall has about 20 copies of the TDF souvenir programme…shame we’re halfway through.
Completely failed to deliver - avoid!
Ordered Tour de France guide on June 10th - just under a month before the event started. Publication never arrived despite ordering well in advance. Customer service took 4 days to respond to my enquiry, then claimed to dispatch a replacement with "delivery in 3-5 working days". That replacement never materialised either.
By July 16th, with the Tour de France approaching the halfway point, what's the point of an event guide? Complete waste of money and time. Also embarrassing that this was ordered as a gift for my Dad. Like many other reviewers here, I've had to request a refund for a product never received.
Based on my experience and other reviews, their business model seems to be: take payment quickly, deliver nothing, respond slowly and hope customers give up!
Nothing Received, Avoid!
As many have said, you receive nothing. Ordered Tour de France early June, stating despatched within 48hrs, nothing. Emailed mid June - sorry, you’ll receive in 4-5 days, still nothing. Emailed early July, same generic response and still nothing. What a con of a company, please read the reviews and go elsewhere.

Ordered a Tour de France guide on the 17th June (plenty of time as the the race starts on the 5th July) . When I ordered there was no guidance that the guide would take 14 working days to arrive. It's now the 11th July (14+ days later) and no sign of the guide. I've messaged "Our Media" a couple of times about this poor service but radio silence so far. As I result of this I have more canceled my subscription for Cycling Plus to avoid giving these undeserving people any more money.

Absolutely dreadful. I wish that I had read the reviews before I ordered and paid for the Tour de France magazine. They took the money on June 12th and as yet, July 12th, no magazine has been delivered. No emails asking for it have been replied to. Just total silence.
IS THIS THE COMPANY POLICY? - advertise, - promise to deliver , take the money, then fail to deliver, make it impossible to contact, on line or by phone.
Good at taking your money but no follow up…
Like other reviewers I received dreadful service. The magazine I ordered never arrived, they took ages to deal with queries, claimed it had been delivered and failed to follow up when I said had not. No apologies, no offer to refund or replace which left me ha I g to reclaim via credit card. These businesses rely on customer inertia so do not trust them.

There seems to be two lots of reviews for this company so I'm leaving one here too, I ordered a one off magazine and never received, having to keep sending numerous emails to ask where it is, each time I'm promised that it's been sent but never arrives.
I've requested a refund several times too, as well as where to address a complaint to, which is just ignored.

Deplorable
Over many months - in fact, years - of not receiving various issues of the Gardens Illustrated magazine despite being a long-time subscriber (11 years), and despite messages sent by email and via their website, their service remains untrustworthy for deliveries going beyond Europe (one of my subscriptions goes to my elderly father in Australia). Their Customer Service, while replying in a relatively timely manner, is apparently helpless to ensure that actual deliveries are made, and that the deliveries contain the issues requested. GI used to be distributed by a decent company with very few mistakes, but this is not the case anymore.
