I would strongly advise other small businesses to be extremely cautious before agreeing to anything with this company over the telephone.
I was contacted about sponsoring safeguarding leaflets for a school. My understanding of the original conversation was that we were supporting the production of the leaflets—I do not recall being clearly told that our business would be charged more than £300 simply to appear on the back page.
After hearing nothing for several months, I suddenly received an invoice and then repeated calls requesting payment. When I challenged the way the service and cost had been presented, the amount was reduced. I paid the reduced sum to bring the repeated payment calls to an end, but I remain extremely unhappy with the experience.
For a small business, this was a substantial amount of money for advertising that offers us very little material benefit. I have now formally requested the complete recording of the original sales call, as I do not believe I would ever have knowingly agreed to pay more than £300 for this service. If the recording does not demonstrate that the full price was clearly disclosed and expressly agreed, I will be requesting a refund.
I recommend that any business approached by this company asks for the complete price, terms, print quantity, distribution information and expected benefit in writing before agreeing to anything.

A Helen Bailey called and asked for me by name. It's the London Safety Campaign, she said. Thank you for helping us. Packs are ready to go... Having previously been caught out and lost hundreds of pounds to these scammers, I told her I wanted nothing more to do with the campaign, and would she please remove me from her list. She started to protest, but I put the phone down. On checking her telephone number, I found it was listed as Anonymous. Beware of anyone purporting to offer Be Aware safety packs for schools, especially if they are well spoken and persuasive. They will even send you a half-way professional looking PDF, but they don't print or distribute them to schools as they claim.

Complete utter scam, do not listen to anything they tell you, it is all lies.

Please please don't fall for this scam with Flourish and Grow. They contacted us about helping our local school with safe guarding campaign and providing some booklets. We are now out of £408. Can't believe I didn't realise. They even sent through a copy of the booklet and are very convincing over the phone Even when I challenged them after reading reviews, they said it wasn't them and it was another company.
Total scam!!

Now operating under the name of Flourish & Grow. They had a good storyline on first contact, namely "helping kids in the same school that our kids went too etc." I Paid out £159 in Dec 22 followed by £349 in Feb 23. When they called me again the other day I realised that I had been scammed!!! I didn't give anymore and immediately canceled the debit card I had used. Checked with the school and they have not received any booklets. Very annoyed as I am sure the school could use the £500 to good use. How can they be closed down?

seems that they have changed their name to Flourish & Grow still saying that I agreed to paying for books having remembered paying for this last year before Christmas I just needed to check and found that I had never paid anything to them alarm bells started to ring and having googled I found I paid to OUr Next GEneration firstly £189.00 on 14.09.22 then £349.00 on 09.12.22 This latest is £439 giving me a discount of £50 I will not be paying any more such an evil scam I thought I was helping a local school

Everything the other reviewers said is completely accurate. Stupidly I fell for this much to my regret. older and wiser now.

I believe these people may now operating under Flourish and Grow / insertsoul.com.

Promised feedback from the school and online reviews with nothing forthcoming.

Unfortunately seems to be a very clever scam.

SCAM Warning
I almost believed them.

As mentioned on other reviews, the contact you about a supposed donation you have made before and that they want to release material to children. They name a local primary school and that they need you to pay so that books can be released to kids.
They send me an invoice and called me every couple of days after that, offering all sorts of discounts.
I decided to research them and found these reviews.
So I waited for the next call and told the lady I don't remember ever agreeing to anything and that I found all these scam warnings. She said she will find my the agreement and send it over and call me back. It's been several hours, not been sent any agreement or got another call. I assume they may leave me alone now.
I reported the company, but I assume that it would take quite a while for anything to come of it.

Only decided to check this company out properly on here after they have hounded me everyday for the last two weeks. I, like many people on here fell for this scam. I'm normally very aware of this sort of thing but they caught me out. So much so they've been trying to get a further £299 off me with a pay now and save £25. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.

This company are scammers

Fell for this, which was very disappointing. Lodged a small claims court application which cost £35, however was contacted by ONG almost immediately and was refunded (though not in full, so will leave the case open and wait to see what happens).

Called from number 01925500831. Told I had agreed to something in February and when I questioned it she said she would check and ring me back. £249 all tax deductable apparently for books about bullying. They had details of all the schools in the area and all the heads. Very clever scam. I guess they will not be ringing back.

It’s quite a clever scam really. Awfully polite northerner called me up and said my sponsorship to a local school now was ready to be posted to the school, and I would be receiving a thank you letter from head of school, and have our company name mentioned somewhere. Enquiring into what sponsor we’d have signed up to, the polite northerner said she herself had spoken to me in April this year, of which I had zero recollection. I told her that I in principle could have agreed to a sponsorship of sorts, but as I had no recollection I did not intend to fulfil any commitments until I was shown empirical evidence of said communication, and the friendly lady promised that she would fetch the recorded call, and call me back for me to listen to the recording within 30 minutes. I guess the nice lady may have struggled to find the tape, so the return call never happened.

As scams go, this was rather cleverly planned and conducted. I could (easily) have fallen into their well-delivered con.

This is a disgraceful and heartless scam.....I had bad feeling, after agreeing to pay £259 to obtain £40 discount (£299) they claimed I had agreed to pay "months ago" to sponsor books for local schools on dangers of bullying....

After paying, I had a bad feeling as I really had no recollection of the "earlier discussion"

I went on line, saw the comments and immediately called the bank, stopped the payment cancelled the card ( just in time thank goodness!) I will recive new card and learn from yet another, but bottom of the barrel scam.

Please keep clear of "Our next generation!"

SCAM. Steer clear. Had me for £169 back in August, tried again today for £299 or £150 with money off due to COVID, very kind. Called the primary school I "sponsored" and forwarded the PDF booklet over but no idea who they are!

Scammed me of money and still trying to call us treating us with legal action!

Received a phone call today trying to get us to part with £249.00 which was supposedly for an awareness campaign for local schools.
Glad I cam on Trust Pilot as I definitely believe it to be a scam or something similar.

After an attempt by phone to scam me, I delayed and looked up Our Next Generation. I read the poor reviews and occasions of scamming (and procuring money!) and used a credit reference agency to look them up, and I dug a little deeper to find this youcontrol.com.ua - purported connections with Russia and Belarus. This is a top notch scam professional, seemingly raising money for war effort - if I am correct. DO NOT give them a penny!!!

Had a Laura Green (or so she said) contact the company and say that we had signed up to help local schools gain awareness on various subjects. I said I could not remember this and she said that I had spoke to her direct in May and there was a delay getting the booklets out. She then went on to say there would be a £30 discount if I paid today, I immediately thought this is a scam. After checking out the reviews this is the case. I have now informed trading standards and all 121 schools in the Cardiff area. Please do not fall for this scam!!
