Each piece is picked for its maker, its material and the way it is made: hand painted porcelain from Arita, letterpress printed cards from a Brussels workshop, plant dyed notebooks, ceramic brooches, small leather pouches made in Japan. Some things are made by hand, some are hand finished, some come from small studios using craft led processes. The product page says which, along with the maker, the town, the material and the size, so there are no surprises when the parcel opens. Orders are packed in Edinburgh in paper based packaging, with tissue and honeycomb wrap rather than plastic. No prices go inside, so anything can be sent straight on to someone else. UK delivery is free on every order, dispatched within one to two working days. If an order arrives damaged or is not what was expected, it will be put right and return postage covered.
