SCAM alert !!

Four weeks after ordering, I have received nothing & no communication from the company. Their website has disappeared and the phone number is not working. I'm assuming this has been a scam and have contacted my credit card provider.

_Refunded once I wrote a review, as product was out of stock_

After writing this review, I was immediately contacted by the company and received an apology, explaining that my purchase had appeared as cancelled in their system, and that they did not realise that the product had been charged. They were very respectful once they wrote me and, upon realising that the product was no longer in stock, they issued me a full refund. I feel sorry for this employee (assuming they are a human being) as they were very polite and able to solve my situation quickly. I would rate this interaction 5 stars.

However, this does not change the fact that they did not respond to two messages I sent them about the product and seem to have not have realised that I had paid for a product that did was not on stock. I upped my rating from one to two stars as I was indeed refunded and showed proof of the issue that happened...

I really suggest offering a better communication channel with your customers to solve issues before bad reviews are written...

Unfortunately, I was too late to read the reviews before buying what I thought would be a beautiful gift for my husband.
On 8 January 2026, I bought a firebowl with Outdoor Heat but received received no confirmation email. However, as 180 pounds were quickly deducted from my account, I assumed that this was an error and that I would receive the confirmation soon enough. After a week, I decided to check for reviews and became very concerned when I realised this has happened to others... oh hindsight...

Almost a month later, I have not received the confirmation nor the product. They provide different information on their website about delivery deadlines, but even the longest (14 full workdays for this line of product) has now long past. I used their in-house communication channels – as there is no telephone number or email address that one could use to contact them – to ask for updates twice, to no avail. My only communication – and confirmation that I have indeed attempted to purchase something with them – were two emails kindly requesting me to review their services. Differently from them, I am replying to that.

I feel robbed and sad.

Item never arrived.
I wish I checked with Trustpilot before placing my order. Heed the warnings and do not use this company. I ordered their firewood bundle box with 3-5 days delivery. 10 days later, not even a despatch email. No reply to my email enquiry, their phone number was not connecting and so I reported the company as fraudulent and claimed a refund through my bank. It took them 2 days to investigate and promptly refunded me! I’ve no idea if this business is understaffed, a scam, or very badly managed. Save yourself some trouble and shop elsewhere.

Unhappy customer

After ordering apart from acknowledgement of order thete was very little communication about delivery dates e.t.c and when product arrived it had a large piece missing from the bottom,obviously had been damaged in transit.i am not amused

Very poor customer service

My chiminea did arrive, intact - eventually (a few days shy of a month after original order date).

I was informed ~1 week after my order that the item I ordered wasn't in stock (bit odd having a digital order system which doesn't track stock accurately?) - however to the company's credit I was offered the next size up in the same style at no additional cost.

However, despite multiple emails (and contact form submissions), I wasn't able to get a clear answer as to when the replacement would ship.

To be honest I was going to initiate a chargeback and then received an SMS from the courier out of the blue to ask me to arrange a delivery date.

The item itself is nice - the customer service is very much lacking though. With clearer communication and management of expectations it's be absolutely fine!

Good service but no communication

Nothing wrong with the service, chimnea delivered a week after ordering. The problem was that after the initial order acknowledgement there was no communication from your company whatsoever, emails and contact form requests were unanswered and the contact phone number given on the website was unobtainable. I spent an anxious few days thinking the whole thing was a scam, then out of the blue got a text message from the courier wanting to deliver the next day.

Non delivery of order

The product hasn’t been delivered yet. It’s been five weeks since placement of the order. My email has not been responded to; there is no tracking link & the contact telephone number is unavailable at all times.
With zero contact with the company, I’m left with no option than to think that this whole thing is a scam!

Delivered within the 14 days quoted and…

Delivered within the 14 days quoted and an excellent product but I’d tried to phone and message Outdoor Heat 3 times about the delivery. No response to any of the messages and the phone number on the website is disconnected - I genuinely felt they’d gone bust !!

Has this company gone bust?

Placed an order for a chiminea on 2nd May 2025, and have heard nothing since despite sending follow-up emails. Phone number is 'unavailable', so the company seems to uncontactable.

Don't bother. Probably gone out of business.

Got most of our order delivered but not the wood. My wife contacted outdoorheat.co.uk a few times by email and telephone but got no response. I then tried. Joss responded to me and apologised stating he would chase the missing items. Now nothing. Suspect that he's gone out of business. Suggest you look elsewhere for outdoor heating products.

Mistake quickly rectified.

The only fault was that initially the wrong chimenea was delivered. But once I had notified the provider then the correct replacement was speedily delivered and the incorrect one taken away. It’s an excellent product and we’re very pleased with it.

Avoid.

Delivered damaged goods and constantly ignored emails, until we had no other choice but to raise a complaint via the credit card company. To date, we are still waiting for the damaged item to be collected and replaced. Item was delivered unpacked and not protected at all, literally just delivered out the back of a van as is. If you still decide to purchase from this company, good luck, we placed our order on the 15th September 2024 and we are still waiting …….

Item arrived promptly

Item arrived promptly. Driver took care and delivery was as discussed with carrier. It was extremely well packaged and came with two covers. It seems that they didn't have a medium cover so they included a large and small. Luckily the small cover fitted. Very pleased with the chiminea. All good.
