Thank you to Outdoor Index for all your guidance and support on our group’s recent W Trek! Matías was wonderful to work with and very easy to communicate with as we prepared for the trip. Once on the trail, our lead guide Carla was excellent—sharing her knowledge and love of Patagonia while always making our group’s safety a priority. She treated us with great respect and was always fun to be around too. I highly recommend Outdoor Index and Carla for anyone considering trekking in Patagonia!

OutdoorIndex, and Matias in particular, did a fabulous job helping me set up a self-guided W trek for my family of 4. He was professional, reliable and responsive in communications. On short notice he was able to secure the itinerary and accommodations we wanted quickly. He also purchased the tickets for the national park and all the busses/transportation which was super helpful. He followed up with updated itineraries and valuable information such as packing suggestions. And he provided an in-person briefing before the trek started to ensure we were familiar with all the plans and routes. More than I expected. Great value for the cost. I hope to return to Patagonia again, and Outdoor index will be the first people I contact.

This trip exceeded my expectations! I did a solo 7-day O circuit trek and camped in the tents provided with a meal plan. The booking process was very easy, and I had exceptional customer service throughout. Matias reached out the day after I expressed interest in the trip and made personalized recommendations. I also met with Vertice staff the day before for a helpful briefing (and received an amazing swag bag), and Matias was available via WhatsApp should I have questions with fast response times (he also checked in with me before and during the trip which was appreciated given I was doing the trip alone). The trip itself was very organized, the food was delicious, and the accommodations were comfortable. The lunch bags provided were particularly good - lots of variety and provided enough food such that I really didn’t need to bring additional snacks. In the end, this was an amazing trip and I felt safe and well equipped for the journey. I would highly recommend this company and this trip.

the team at Outdoor Index helped me put together the perfect hiking and camping trip with minimal fuss. I would have struggled to map out the 5 days in Patagonia on short notice, but they were able to guide me through the process and answer all my questions along the way. totally recommend them for their service and professionalism.

Matías at Outdoor Index was incredibly knowledgeable and responsive in setting up a trek on the “O trail” in Torres Del Paines.

He made the entire process of scheduling the trip very easy, including scheduling transportation, meals, and places to stay at the campsite. I highly recommend working with Matias.

It’s a certainly more expensive than simply booking yourself, but it meaningfully simplifies the process.

We booked the O-Trek with the help of Mat. He was really fast in replying on whatsapp and answered all the questions we had. Altough we booked quiet spontaneously, he managed to book everything for us.
The trek itself was a wonderful experience and we would instantly do it again! Even though it was quiet expensive, it was definitely worth the money to book the fullboard (our knees thanked us for that). The box lunch was well proportionned, the camps were nice and we got all the material that we booked.
The only thing we would critize is the planned route on the last day. It was quiet far and we had to be back on time to catch the catamaran. We managed to go to the top and back in time but only because we were hiking really fast (almost running) and we have hiking experience. I guess not everyone would be able to make it in time and would then miss out on the beautiful britanico. But with everything else we were more than happy and would recommend outdoorindex for sure.

After purchasing the Torres del Paine package, Matias got in contact with me to make sure that everything went well. Even the night before my for nights he sent me a message to advice me what to do in case of hard wind. I have to say that I had a full service worth the money.

Everything worked out perfect even though I booked quite spontaneously! Highly recommended!

Outdoor Index was very helpful and trustworthy during the planning phase of my trip to Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas. The rep was very communicative while I was on my trip providing updates on the status of my booked excursions.I was able to get some great recommendations from him on excursions into Torres Del Paine National Park during a national park ranger strike since some of plans were affected. I would highly recommend this group
