As usual with Carhartt products, this is a quality product. It is a nice material, not exactly fleece, but similar. Quality zippers, not the cheap flimsy stuff.
Medium warmth, good for three seasons. I use it for the air conditioned office, to protect my neck/back from cold air; perfect.
Nice and warm, just not for polar, sub-zero temperatures.
Careful: Definitely go one size down. I always take XL, and XL was much too big for me. L is the right size for this product for me. Save yourself the return/exchange hazzle.
